I ordered food today around 6:20 PM, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The food was far too oily, and if it were possible, I would give zero stars instead of one. I ordered Paneer Biryani and Samosa Chaat, and both were of very poor quality—completely tasteless and badly prepared. This is honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had, and it ruined my entire day. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I ordered biryani with very mild spice level, but it still came out quite spicy. It had almost no masala — just dry rice and chicken. It felt like they reduced the masala instead of the spice level. The spice level was around 10, but the biryani had no flavor. Very mild means the spice level, not the masala level. How are you supposed to eat dry rice with dry chicken? Really disappointing.

Unassuming in appearance, set within a renovated old home, Crossroads Biryani is the kind of place easily overlooked from the outside. Inside, however, it delivers serious flavor, built around fragrant basmati rice and a clear respect for Indian culinary tradition.

We approached the menu family-style, sampling a range of biryanis: fried chicken, chicken tikka, butter chicken, and gutti vankaya. Across the table, every dish found its audience. The rice itself was a standout—long-grained, aromatic, and perfectly cooked, carrying spice and sauce without turning heavy or muddled.

Heat levels were handled with care. For the most spice-intolerant among us, one or two dishes pushed the limit, while the rest of us found ourselves wishing we had leaned further into the heat. That balance spoke to a kitchen confident enough to honor tradition, yet willing to adapt to its guests.

What impressed most was the authenticity of flavor. For friends with roots in India, the dishes carried a sense of home, a quiet but powerful endorsement. The spices were layered and expressive rather than blunt, allowing each biryani to maintain its own identity.

Portions were generous—bordering on abundant—and prices remained very reasonable, reinforcing the sense that this is a place built for return visits rather than rare indulgence. It is honest, hearty food meant to be shared.

Crossroads Biryani may not announce itself loudly, but it does not need to. Its strength lies in what arrives at the table: warmth, depth, and a generosity of both flavor and spirit. I would return happily.

My rating: ★★★★☆
1 star — I will never return.
2 stars — If nearby, I might return, but without urgency.
3 stars — Worth a visit if in the area, though not a destination in itself.
4 stars — Worth going out of your way to enjoy.
5 stars — I would fly around the world for this meal.

I had ordered 2 goat fry biryanis. In biryani meat was uncooked, also it was too spicy. I specifically mentioned that I need medium spicy still it was spicy. We couldn’t eat it. I never give bad reviews to anyone but this is 4th time they gave us spicy biryani after mentioning medium spicy. Due to this our stomach got upset. Please avoid this place.

I came here mainly for their special Chicken Kodi Vepudu, and it did not disappoint. They’ve kept the same amazing taste for years – totally ultimate! My only small feedback would be that the masala could stick a bit more to the chicken, but the flavor itself is excellent. The Special Chicken Biryani was truly authentic – full of spice, rich flavor, and every bite just makes you fall in love with it. I’d also recommend pairing your meal with a Mexican Coca-Cola – it goes perfectly with the dishes.

One of my coworkers said this is the best restaurant in America. I don’t know if I can confirm that, but it’s definitely the best biryani I’ve had on this side of the Atlantic

Nice little discovery. Fish biriyani was good and Apricot custard delight was a great find – must try.
They give only disposable plates and cups.
Veg starter was not good and the person who took the order was kind enough to take it off the list

Approaching the restaurant, even just the smell coming from the kitchen let me know that I made the right choice coming here. The food is fantastic and a nice casual environment. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and I felt like they truly cared about my experience and if my food was to my liking. My biryani was lovely and authentically spiced.

I really enjoy going to a restaurant and knowing my food wasn’t under a heat lamp, and here the food is delicious and cooked properly, so if there’s a wait, it’s worth it.

Crossroads Biryani & Grill is my new favorite Indian restaurant. This was my first visit and from the moment I opened my car door the aroma from their kitchen seemed to call me to come in. If they sold that as an aromatherapy I would buy it. I was greeted like family. Very warm and friendly team that helped me decide what to try as a first timer. I ordered the Gobi Manchurian appetizer and the Boneless Chicken Biryani. With spicy but “extra” spicy. I chose wisely. I did sweat a little. Both were outstanding. Portions are large so enjoyed both again for dinner. I had my first ever Chai Latte to finish. It was so good I went to the store to buy some organic chai to try and make it at home. If you’re after a family style home cooked Indian experience run to Crossroads Biryani & Grill and take both foodie and non types there to enjoy a great meal. I can’t wait to get back there.

Great Indian food. Took a little because they make it fresh. The medium spicy was good for me. I was not crazy about the disposable plates but got over it once I tasted the food. Love the music videos and family environment. Definitely a go to and feel at home.
