It’s been more than 5 years since we ate Bolivian food, we’re passing through here, it was amazing to order food in this environment. It’s small, but we were served quickly, with proper attention, we asked to take away because it was very crowded and it was very cold. But the other day we went back for breakfast. Again the food was divine, fast and attentive service. I highly recommend it. If God allows, we will return in the near future. Everything wonderful, I recommend Anticucho, tojori, pastel de queso.

The worst Bolivian restaurant, the food taste horrible, a child brought the menu to our table and they took so long to bring our order and they brought one order every 10 minutes for a family of 5 people. They charged us for extra containers and plastic bag and the worst part was when they imposed us to pay $17.62 for gratitude for our order of five combos of “api con pastel”. I don’t mind paying for a tip if there is someone who provided good service but there was nobody serving at all. There was an teen with wet hands going from the kitchen to the bathroom, which is the same bathroom that the customers had to use. They give you horrendous food, horrible service, and top it off with charging extra money. Those people are thieves.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was incredibly frustrating. When we arrived, no one was at the front desk to greet us, and we had to wait around awkwardly for someone to even acknowledge us. Once seated, it took about 10 minutes just to receive menus, with no apology or explanation.

The food itself was okay – nothing special, but edible. However, the service completely ruined the experience. Long wait times between ordering, receiving food, and even getting the check made the entire meal feel unnecessarily drawn out.

To make matters worse, a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill, despite the poor service, and they also charged extra for containers and a bag when we asked to take leftovers home. That felt like nickel-and-diming on top of an already disappointing visit.

I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value decent service.

Best anticuchos in the dmv!! It’s a VERYYY tiny place with maybe only 4 tables insides so definitely get take out. A little pricey also but for the quality of the anticucho I’m willing to spend. I haven’t tried any other dish yet but will be coming back for more.

To me this was more like a home made food Bolivian restaurant. My group and I went there through a recommendation. I loved the api con pastel and the food that my family ordered.

If you want a home style cooked Latino meal, this is the best place you could possibly find. I’m glad I decided to try it while waiting for my barber across the street.

Both take out and dine in are good, but if you come here, always get the pastels or Humitas. They are super good, and fresh. The wait time is a little long if you’re getting these two, but its worth it. Also, they sell bread on the weekends I think. Thats also really good. If you do come here for dine in, its really small with only about four tables.

Food is good, but we saw mice the 3 times we went to this restaurant, we found dead roaches in their plastic cups.
Food is too expensive here and when they make a mistake they just get upset… not worth the trip.
The health department should visit them.

I used to love coming here back in the day. Now inflation is real and prices plummeted and I can’t even enjoy a Kawi without paying $18.15 for with tax almost $20 it’s wild. The service wasn’t great I called to pick up soup and they told me 10 minutes I got there and had to wait an additional 10 minutes and the people at the counter desk were not welcoming. It’s definitely not like it used to be. Now be ready to pay $20 for a medium soup. They have a sign that now says they charge $.050 cents for sauce ahi de mani and other sauces I was like what? Inflation is real in this place. I went to another Bolivian restaurant and got a different experience and prices so do yourself a favor and go where the prices are still reasonable. Bolivian restaurant here in Springfield is still selling Kawi for $14 not $18. Back in the day the container for soup here at Cristina’s was a big one and now I was surprised they found a container that was smaller for to go orders.

The server was busy on her cellphone. And has no time to ask if we were ready to order, or if we were happy with food or do we need anything else.
