Authentic Taiwanese Food!! Delicious food and atmosphere! Big portions! Got the Pork Chop Rice, and it was huge! $$ than I thought, but we’ll worth the portion size, that cutlet you see on the left, had another layer of cutlet underneath!

Their English isn’t the best, but HEY! All the more authentic right? Just smile back and look at a photo, pick and order!

I came back for the Sesame cold noodles and Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken can’t wait to come back!!

Delicious, delicious, aaaaaaaand delicious. Got the Pink Haze and it was soooooooooooo good! Be prepared for crunchy toast, homemade whipped cream, and lots of strawberries to suit your fancy! You may have to wait a few minutes for it to bake, but I tell you it is most certainly worth it! AND the staff were very helpful and friendly since I’d never been here before, they brought dessert to us! Thanks y’all, we will be back!

The two aunties cooking were extremely kind and very detail and quality oriented.

There were multiple vegan and vegetarian options, that were real food. Not just modified or fake version of a normally non vegan dish.

My daughter loved the red bean soup and the eggplant was cooked perfectly with lots of strong fresh basil and the sauce it was soaked in was both sweet and savory.

I want to try their fresh juices and shaved ice parfaits next time.

Hands down the most authentic Taiwanese pork chop rice I’ve had outside of Taiwan! The cutlet is crispy yet magically grease-free, tender, light, and perfectly balanced. I’ve devoured it daily without tiring of it. Their papaya milk pure nostalgia! Silky-smooth and just-sweet-enough, it tastes exactly like the iconic version from Kaohsiung Milk King that I loved as a child. If you haven’t tried this place yet, drop everything and go. Comfort food perfection.

Behind each delicate cuisine, it is the culture and people that amaze me most I started to visit the Commons because of Crisp N Chill – an authentic Taiwan Night Market cuisine culture. When the sun dips below the horizon in Taiwan, a transformation begins. The tropical heat softens into a warm, humid embrace. The Night Market is full of energy, colors and activity in a relaxed and informal dining style. It is a must-visit place for many tourists.

My regular favorites in Crisp N Chill are Popcorn Chicken (try different spicy levels), Pork Chop Rice, and Skewers, For deserts – Taiyaki and Taro Ball with Grass Jelly (this one is so delicious that I have been ordering it once every week for summer and winter. )

For winter, I love those seasonal dishes – absolutely must-try (Ginger Duck Soup, Herbal Pork Rib Soup,, Lamb hotpot and Spanish Mackerel Rice Noodle). They are so popular that they normally get sold out in a day or two.

They insist on using high-quality and healthier ingredients, so I pay a bit extra for that reason. I have tried many DMV restaurants, this one is definitely healthier. Really glad to see an authentic Taiwanese restaurant so close by. Don’t miss it !

What a treasure I found! I am so lucky to be able to discover this authentic Taiwanese restaurant! Everything is so good from pork chop rice, green onion pork belly, cold noodle, shaved ice, papaya milk, avocado pudding milk, and so many more! And the owner user very fresh and high end ingredients to make them. Wish I have bigger stomach to try them all! Definitely on top of my favorite restaurants! Highly recommended~

I got the Golden Hour Toast Tower and it was a culinary work of art! It tasted so good and was the perfect dessert to end the night. I had the eggplant rice dish and it was literally the best eggplant I have had at a restaurant. This place is definitely worth a visit!!
