Don’t ever come here!!!! This people are beyond disrespectful… We went out way to eat something different, and the suprise we found that the food we did not like at all. My son and I just were not happy, moreover because there food is not cheap whatsoever… So we went ahead and talked with the owner and we told him we did not like the food… He basically shrugged like he didn’t care that we didn’t like it. As a owner you’re supposed to be pro customer… So we went ahead and said it again. And his response surprised us when he said “if you don’t like the food there’s nothing we can do about it, when u go to a Chinese food if you don’t like there food you have to eat it”..we were so gagged with this type of treatment… DO NOT EAT HERE

Best rotisserie chicken in DC area! C & J is our go-to carryout for delicious meals that travel well: consistently perfect chicken, rice and beans, slaw, etc. You can eat in but it’s bare bones—clean, not fancy. I’ve been coming to Crispy & Juicy since I was 16 years old — I’m 41 now. This place has literally been part of my life for decades. But today completely changed how I feel about it.
They charged me 5 cents for the bag they put my food in so I can take it home. No restaurant I’ve ever been to charges you for the bag they hand you with your order. That’s like charging people for the plastic forks and napkins when they’re eating inside — it just feels wrong.
On top of that, they added a $1.50 fee just for using my debit card, and $2.50 for a small can of soda. After supporting this place for over 25 years, it honestly felt like price gouging.
I told the owner’s wife that I’ve never seen anything like this here, and after today, I won’t be coming back. It’s sad when a place you trusted for so long changes in a way that pushes loyal customers away.

I received such dry plantain. They were so hard I could bounce them off the wall. All of the plantain. It’s like they gave me yesterdays food and reheated it too high in the microwave. I called to complain and they offered me a free side.Never will I eat there again. You have to understand I don’t write reviews because it’s time consuming and I can’t be bothered I’ll usually take the loss. But it was so egregious that they even thought it was okay to serve me food that stale and hard. I’m going to rate them 1/10for food. If you are looking for hard objects to throw at your enemy 10/10 🙂

BUYERS BEWARE: I ordered a 1/4 chicken platter w/ rice and beans and primavera rice which is listed at 12 dollars. Somehow with tax this came up to to 14.68(no drink by the way). Cool not tripping bout that, but the little bit of rice I had in which I ordered two different rices and only two lackluster sauces and flavorless chicken is where I draw the line. Mind you I was told the primavera rice had “mixed vegetables” moe I only had one pea in that joint. Think I’m lying ima show y’all the photo on brah I ain’t lying. The chicken moist but got no flavor whatsoever. It’s disrespectful to call this Peruvian chicken. Like seriously how do you mess up Peruvian chicken? Y’all better off going to el pollo rico, charga grill or carribean grill which is cheaper, better with more food. The sauce taste like salt free mayonnaise. No flavor AT ALL. Then I only get two sauces at that like it’s supposed to be good.(65 cent for each extra sauce) I don’t write reviews much but for 14.68 for this low effort food y’all gonna get my opinion! If you on a budget don’t go here because this restaurant clearly is! Little bit of food plus no seasoning or flavor? Where is Keith Lee or Mr. Chimetime when you need them? Wish I would of read the first two reviews. It hasn’t been 45 mins yet since driving back to work and trying this terrible food and I’m writing more then I’m eating which says a lot because I’m greedy. This is really 0 stars but since google geeking to leave at least a star I’ll give it to y’all.

Sadly this place has gone downhill, and I will no longer be going back. Prices have gotten MUCH higher. The superbowl platter, which is just two chickens and some sides is now something like $54. On top of that, there is an extra $2 if the sides are plantains! On top of that, there’s a “non-cash” mark-up as well. At this point, I think a $7 supermarket rotisserie chicken will do just fine.

This place really has picked up. There’s new employees and I think new management because everyone’s a lot friendly. It’s a clean calm atmosphere to bring any family. Food tastes fresher compared to when I first tried it a year ago. Absolutely love it.

Worst place EVER!! not only did the service sucked so did the food. I specifically asked for really well done Steak and was given almost rare, so bad I threw away my order.
The people that attended me didn’t understand a lack of English and I ended up missing items in my order.
