Full marks from me, here. Friendly and informative staff and a decently robust menu compliment a fantastic chicken sandwich. I highly recommend trying it out.

Expect a slightly longer wait than your typical fast food joint, as they handbread the chicken to order and cook it fresh every time, but the wait is certainly worth it. Good balance in the slaw, nice and spicy (with options for less spicy if so inclined), and an absolute chonker of a chicken breast. Great sauce, too, that I believe surpasses those of popular chicken cains–sorry, chains.

Great hot chicken that’s not too oily or overly salty. Perfect mix of moist and tasty. Also enjoyed how big the patty was on the chicken sandwich, great portions. Their mango lemonade was also not too sweet. Guy at the register was friendly, restaurant looked very clean.

Got the The Crimson sandwich (Hot) with fries & a Dr. Pepper. Yummy! The sandwich is kinda big, chicken was crispy & juicy, lots of sour & tangy flavors, tasted good with their sauce. Fries were good, just wish they were more crispy. My son got the tenders (Medium) & he liked them. It’s located in a big plaza, with plenty of parking. Many tables & bar seating inside & a table outside too, they have a restroom. Staff was ok. Prices are fair

This place has been on my list for a while. The food does not disappoint! Ordered the limited time Snash double cheeseburger and the burrrn baby burn wings.
The burger was cooked right, condiments were fresh, and the sauce had good flavor. The wings were perfect, crisp crunch, steaming hot on the first bite, and the flavor had just the right level of heat to tear up. The food was good and didn’t feel heavy on the gut.
The shop was clean and the staff was very welcoming. This place should be busier than it was! I’ll go back for the chicken and definitely want to try the Nashville Hot.

My husband loves chicken, I am very picky eater, it’s hard to find good chicken that is raised healthy and not full of ‘junk’ chemicals and growth hormones etc.. finding this place while on a work trip was amazing. We went in with high hopes, the food smelt amazing, the service was quick and welcoming, and once served we didn’t stop wiggling. We danced in our seats as we took each bite. We were in heaven. The flavor of the meat was incredible. The batter was crispy. The medium was the perfect blend of flavor and spice. The blooming onion was huge and perfectly made, slightly sweet from the natural onion flavor, crispy. The fried pickles, I usually don’t like, were killer, next level, set the bar. There was too much food for just the two of us, so bring a group you won’t be disappointed. I felt great even though it’s a lot of fried food, it was 9.8/0 experience for sure! I wish they were in San Diego! -.2 because the location.

If you’re craving chicken sandwich or tenders and want to try something new besides Cane’s, I recommend Crimson Coward! Especially if you love spice, they have a good scale to choose from. Both orders we got were mild and it was a good kick without losing flavor. The crispiness was great, the tenders were big and the fries were well-seasoned too.

Their pricing sits more closely to restaurant-style rather than fast food, so be prepared to pay more than you might expect. Our two combo orders was $38 something, so about $20 per person. For the portion, it was acceptable since it comes with a drink and a hefty amount of fries. I think next time I would skip the combo and share one order of fries with someone. It would also be interesting to try out other items on the menu, like the loaded fries or burrito.

My biggest complaint was customer service. It wasn’t busy for a Saturday afternoon (5:10pm-5:45pm), we were the only ones dining in with this heat wave and a few takeout orders came by. The employee at the register had appalling manners. Hardly acknowledged us, sitting on a rolling office chair behind the counter, wired earphones and on a call the entire time and even propped on a mini tripod she never let go of. As she took our order, she didn’t bother pausing the call but took the phone with her and only when I looked at her ready to order did she stop talking to acknowledge me. It was still with her when she delivered our food to our table. Her voice and laughter was louder than the music and kitchen prep, like she was in her living room rather than at work. It was really unprofessional and disruptive. I’m not looking for compensation, but it’s an issue I hope gets addressed for other customers. The one star can go to the two employees in the kitchen who handed me our missing sauce from our order.

Overall great location, so easy access for good food in the neighborhood. Worth a try, but we’ll see if it becomes a regular stop for dining out.

Wow! What a place, some of the better hot chicken I’ve had, let alone in Orange County. The hot is a dry-rub and HOT. The fried onion is perfection, and I can’t recommend coming here enough.

They have a big menu, too, with a lot of variety.

Decided last minute to try this place out, and I was not disappointed. Shared 3 tenders and Joey-Eat-Fries with my husband as suggested by the guy that took our order. I had to go mild because I’m a wuss there was no lack of flavor! So much flavor, so much crunch! I loved it. The fries were delicious and I could probably share the fries alone and be full.
The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, the food was tasty. You can’t go wrong here.

The best of the best with fried chicken. My favorite go to place for fried chicken. I come here with friends and family and it never disappoints. Their chicken is so juicy yet crispy and flavorful. My favorites here are the Crimson chicken sandwich and Joey-Eat-Fries. I love the Tenders too when I want to go without carbs that day. It’s a very clean place with a friendly staff. As a big fried chicken fan who has tried many fried chicken places in LA and the OC, this is the best you can go to!
