I’ve been coming here for years!! Hits the spot every single time. I came for the bagels but then kept returning because the staff genuinely is so sweet as well. They’re prompt, attentive, and lovely to chat with. And I don’t think there’s anything I’ve tried here that I didn’t like!! My go-to is an egg bagel with cream cheese and butter, and their freshly squeezed orange juice. Amazing combo. Please come here and support them ✨

Cresskill Bagels is a bergen county institution! They have the best bagels and low fat tuna salad in town! They put together a beautiful lox platter for hosted events too!! Great beverage selection – the mash and Hal’s are absolutely delicious!!

I have been going here for years. Great fresh quality of food and very clean. Everyone who works there is very professional. However, orders need to be checked before leaving. So many times my order is missing something. Today I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich. Asked them no peppers but add tomato..get home..no cheese..it’s a cheesesteak. I’d say 50% of the time order is missing something. When they get it right ..it’s great!

I really love this place. The management keeps it super clean, the staff is friendly, and the whole vibe just feels good. The bagels are amazing — especially the cream cheese and salmon, my absolute favorite combo.
Their coffee is great too — always fresh and smooth. Just an all-around solid spot for breakfast or a quick bite. Highly recommend! ☕️

Excellent service, 10 out of 10! When we arrived, a young man greeted us with a smile and a “good morning.” The bagels are very good. Alberto gave us some great suggestions so we could try a variety of flavors. Thanks, Alberto! We’ll be back, as this shop is going to be one of our favorites.

Absolutely one of the most miserable customer service experiences I’ve had anywhere — let alone in my own town. I walked in around 6:15 AM for a quick sandwich, and the guy working (tall, bald, goatee) acted like my presence was a personal inconvenience.
He spoke three words total. No greeting, no courtesy, no basic acknowledgment — just a cold “yes?” when I walked in, followed by a grunted “no” and “yes” to simple questions. That’s it. The rest was silence, eye-rolling energy, and a vibe that said, “Get out.”
Even asking for a receipt seemed to offend him. No smile, no thank you, no anything. Just pure attitude. I’ve received warmer customer service from vending machines.
As a long-time Cresskill resident, it’s honestly insulting. If you don’t want to deal with customers, don’t work the counter. I’m done with this place — and I’ll be taking both my business and my recommendations elsewhere.
Places like this survive on locals; treating us like we’re a burden is a great way to lose us.

I’ve been tasting bagels from shops all around Bergen County in January and February of 2024 and Cresskill Hot Bagels is still the absolute best!!!
Soft and moist inside with a perfect slight crunch on the skin. Best flavor, best texture, best ingredients and still a great price! Also a sweet aftertaste after you finished eating the bagel. Friendly employees, super fast service, tons of other food options and one of the best drink selections ever found really pushes this place way above the rest!
They also have some tables if you want to eat inside.
Free parking along the street.
