Went for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect! Food was so good, not too expensive, and arrived quickly. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Is this the best dining experience in Bath ? If it’s not I’d like to know where is. Everything is better than you ever hoped it could be. Really. Yet, it is understated elegance too.

This is the most exquisite creative delicious food prepared with the utmost care in a beautiful comfortable and atmospheric environment, served by staff who really care to make sure you have the best experience possible.

For a romantic evening I cannot imagine a better location.

Stumbled across this place when we were looking for some breakfast, the owner was very polite and accommodating even for a table of 9, 15 minutes before the end of breakfast service. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent.

The next morning we decided to go back again as it was so good, we were greeted again by the same warm and friendly atmosphere, and even a bit of banter with the owner, who even remembered our orders from the day before. For a chef in a small kitchen to push out 9 meals at the same time, all warm and all with the same level of quality shows how talented he is !!

Thanks again guys. One place not to be missed !!

Fantastic spot in a great part of Bath. The service was friendly and very personalised to the extent of checking suitability of cheese for an expectant mother! The menu is interesting and varied and prices reasonable. We will be back. Try the Moroccan beef if it’s on the menu.

This is such a delightful cosy family run restaurant situated in a lovely Bath stone terrace building, just a few minutes stroll from the beautiful Royal Crescent.

The hosts are friendly and the restaurant is very tastefully decorated, including plush comfy chairs, nice cutlery and a decorative wood burner in the chimney breast.

The delicious food is freshly cooked to order and it is very well presented. There is a varied range of menu items to suit most tastes and many
diets.
We all had a glass of nice Prosecco with our meal.

The ladies/gents are spotless and nicely kitted out.

I would definitely return on my visits to Bath.

Brilliant restaurant, the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. They also had a great wine menu too. I would thoroughly recommend the fish burger which was delicious. Great menu for pescatarians and vegetarians. Always appreciate an independent restaurant.

We booked which was fine but they do charge a very high cancellation fee of £10 pp for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance which seems quite inflexible. I understand that they want to avoid last minute cancellations but I think it’s a bit too much.

The overall atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

For the start, we ordered the Chili & Garlic Prawns—the prawns were super fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

For the main courses, we had the Crescent Burgers – 6oz Beef Burger. The beef was thick and juicy, and the portion of fries was very generous. We also tried the Seafood Linguini, and the seafood was incredibly fresh, especially the prawn and salmon.

For dessert, we had the seasonal special flavors—Cherry Berry and Chocolate. They weren’t too sweet and had a homemade ice cream texture, which we really enjoyed.

If we visit Bath again, we will definitely come back! ❤️

Found by accident when visiting Bath for a few days for the Christmas markets – it was a gem.
Staff are very helpful and polite. Great atmosphere and the food was superb.
An added benefit was to be able to drink St Emilion by the glass as all restaurants I have been to require you to buy a bottle.
Would thoroughly recommend and we will return when we visit Bath again

So enjoyed finding this little gem of a restaurant, funnily enough through recommendations made on Tripadvisor!! We booked an evening meal pre theatre. This husband and wife team have got it so right. The upstairs seating area is very cozy although there is more seating downstairs. The atmosphere is friendly and warm and the food is of outstanding quality and cooked to perfection (you can watch it being cooked in the adjoining kitchen). In short – its just lovely! Will certainly be back without question.
