Not worth it! Just walk a block to Trolley Crepes which is the same but reasonably priced. The crepe cart is generating at least $5.4M in annual revenue not including the mandatory 18% tip and 3% required credit card charge. No other normal business does this.

Why is it a scam? The menu next to the sidewalk has no mention of the 18% mandatory tip. It’s not until you get to the front of the line after you’ve been waiting for 10-50 minutes that the point of sale discloses there is a mandatory tip. It’s not transparent pricing, it’s a scam.

I personally asked the manager if the 18% tip was mandatory, and they said “yes, unfortunately, the owner has decided to take this direction with his business strategy.” This is a self serve stand with about 5 counter stools and plastic forks and knives, hardly worth 18% mandatory tip. Alex LaMarca (owner), no customers want a mandatory tip, but it’s a profitable short term money grab for you isn’t it.

Alex LaMarca, in 2016 you stated on a busy day, your team is making 900 crepes. You now have two crepe restaurants. 900 crepes X $15 per crepe X 200 busy days X two busy crepe restaurants = $5.4 MILLION dollars. Can’t you can afford to pay your own workers a livable wage and not force your customers to do it for you? If customers weren’t tipping because they waited too long for a crepe, maybe you should figure out the staffing.

Glad to see there was almost no line at crepe cart over Labor Day week, as this place is overhyped. It’s just a crepe. Take your business elsewhere.

Crepes were good, but there was so much smoke inside that my eyes were burning. My family and I ended up waiting outside for the crepes because it was uncomfortable to stay in. Food was good, but the inside experience definitely needs improvement.”

What used to be two lift operators on their day off, spreading peanut butter and cutting bananas, has turned into a tourist trap of touch screen ordering, non-personality having, cost cutting, price gouging, corporate nonsense. Avoid this place if you aren’t a tourist, looking for an “experience” Our family tradition has been ruined by whatever this has become.

So much nicer to sit inside where it’s warm. Like a secret of Breck, you go across the road and through any laneway and it’s on the other side of the car park. You can see it from Main St. behind Magical Scraps. Since nobody knows about it, it’s virtually empty. No lines!
The crepes are delicious. Sometimes it comes out crispy. I would request it be made that way to ensure you get this. Worth it.

Crepes a la Cart is a quintessential Breckenridge staple, and this location is much less busy than their flagship restaurant across the street on Main Street, but has the same great menu. Both locations offer outdoor seating, and you might even like this deck better, which features a view of the mountains.

I loved the Veggie Lover’s crepe, whose balsamic dressing went well with the semi-sweet crepe and sautéed peppers and onions. This is a must-stop when in Breckenridge for a light snack.

The crepes here are delicious (pictured is the Parisian) those is a must when I’m Breck! The wait will probably be long (in total we waited about 20-30 mins), but it’s worth the wait. This is the second location of the cart on main Street, same crepes with slightly less wait time

If you need to increase prices, then just do it. Don’t lie to me about the real price.

The food is good, BUT it rubs me the wrong way when there is an automatic 18% gratuity added (that was not mentioned when placing my order and I noticed after I paid) when they hand me my food at the counter and I have to self-bus my food.

Note: they have it “posted” at the register (see pic), but it was not obvious, and as written above, was not mentioned to me during my order

The food is just meh, but usually I wouldn’t leave a negative review just because of the food coz everyone likes different flavor. The thing that made me sick is the waitress who claimed that there is a forced 18% tips even for take out order (she didn’t mention it at all before I paid. The amount suddenly changed the moment I tapped my credit card). I wouldn’t recommend this place just for its food. If you really want to go and order a to-go, be sure to use the order machine yourself (I tried the machine while waiting and there is no overcharge for tips), avoid making orders through the front desk waitress, who will charge you 18% tips even for to-go order.
