When seated waitress gave us our menus but did not ask us what we wanted to drink. We waited probably 10? Minutes to order and ordered our drinks then.
It was after this I noticed she was telling another table the special of the day but we were not informed that there was a special.
When we got our food it looked decent (it was basic grilled cheese sandwiches). But the taste was very mediocre… the sandwiches had no buttery taste, no saltiness, the sourdough was bland in flavor as well. The sandwich had more texture than flavor, even the cheese was oily and not very appetizing. The fries were okay but again under seasoned. The onion rings were decent but slightly under done on the inside. The side of onion rings was also on the smaller side for $6 in my opinion.
After all was said and done I paid and we went home. I went to heat up left overs in the to go container, lid open, it was in the microwave for LESS than 2 minutes and IT CAUGHT FIRE.
I personally wont be returning but this was my first time there and so the only food I tried was what I listed above. Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience but it certainly didn’t wow me….
From the moment we sat down at Creekside Kitchen, it felt like being welcomed into the heart of Tonasket. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with that small-town charm that makes you want to linger a little longer.
The food is delicious and hearty—clearly made with care—and the drinks hit the perfect balance of refreshing and comforting. But what stood out most was the hospitality. Everyone we encountered was kind, genuine, and attentive in a way that made us feel not just like customers, but like neighbors.
Sitting on the patio, sipping hot chocolate and sharing a meal, we felt woven into the rhythm of the community here. Creekside Kitchen isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a gathering place where good food and good people meet.
I left feeling full, grateful, and already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Creekside, for reminding us what true hospitality feels like.
fYI for parking a large RV unit. We go around the block and park on E 7th street. The parking along the highway heading North can be a little hairy.
It felt like a home cooked meal
The staff were very friendly and pleasant .
My husband has the prime rib, and he said that it’s the BEST he has had… the flavor and tenderness were outstanding. The side of corn on the cob was really flavorful. I had the blackened chicken salad. The dressing is so freaking good. Huckleberry shake
Last but not least, a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie from Tunk Valley Ranch and Bakery I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to take a picture until it was too late. Friday nights are the best.
UPDATE: I had the lasagna last night, and I’m here to tell you it’s the best I’ve ever had. So delicious
