We spent the night at the Walnut Creek Marriott, so we decided to walk here for dinner since it was a walkable distance (~0.3 miles). Service was good and food was delicious. The portion size is a little small for the price especially for a Chinese restaurant. They do charge you per person for hot tea (Jasmine), so if you are not a big tea drinker, you might want to pass. They have some specialty dim sum items they a wait staff might bring by to sell you. Today they mentioned they had lobster as well. The restaurant was nicely decorated and business was decent for a Saturday evening. They have a dim sum menu and a separate entrees menu. Overall, a good place for basic dim sum items and Chinese food. I just wish the portions were a little bigger for the entrees.

Treat yourself to a fantastic Chinese meal. The food is top-notch, with delicious handmade dim sum and excellent entrées. The owners are meticulous about quality, and I feel fortunate to have this restaurant nearby. As someone who considers herself a good judge of Asian food, this is truly my favorite.

Over the years, we visited this restaurant quite regularly—about every other month. Since COVID, their prices have nearly doubled. We could easily spend over $100 for two adults and two kids (under three). I was shocked by the price we paid during our last visit a year ago, so we stopped going as often.

Today, I ordered food to go—just four items: shrimp har gow, sticky rice lotus leaf wrap, chicken feet, and siu mai. When I arrived, the restaurant was noticeably quieter compared to the past. I guess there’s a reason for that.

Unfortunately, my two kids had their first bites before I realized the sticky rice lotus leaf wrap was rancid. I called the restaurant to let them know one of the items I ordered was bad. On the other end, I heard two women speaking in Cantonese, saying, “What is she talking about?” Then they asked me to return the food. I couldn’t—I live 30 minutes away. One of the women then asked, “What do you want us to do?” I was so frustrated with their attitude. It felt like they thought I was trying to scam them over just ten bucks. I simply responded, “Please refund the bad item.” They said they would, but I haven’t checked my bank account yet.

I’m very disappointed with how they treated me as a customer. That woman didn’t even apologize and hung up the phone without a word. One thing they did right: shortly after, a man called back, spoke politely, and apologized.

Bottom line—I will never go back to that restaurant, and I won’t recommend it to anyone around me. The quality for the price is ridiculous.

Slightly above-average food. The siu mai were oversteamed, as were the chicken feet. The fried squash left me perplexed. The salted egg yolk wasn’t coated on the squash at all and tasted bland. The baked pork buns could have been our favorite if you could look past the fact that they looked brutally beaten in the cooking process. I came with high expectations and left knowing I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

8/26/2025 Update. Consistently good. The owner even let us try her special dish not found on their menu.

Delicious, fast, efficient, and friendly. It’s like dining at your favorite aunt’s house for some Asian comfort food.

Excellent Dim Sum! We loved the baked BBQ Pork Bao, Ube buns, and dry fried chow fun with beef the most. Portion sizes are extremely generous. Three adults could split the chow fun.

They have small and large bottles of Singha and TsingTao beers.

Ambiance is great. Large space, pretty quiet and comfortable.

Service is so fast and polite! These servers are busy, move fast, and work hard.

We spent around $70 USD total which I believe is extremely reasonable for the amount of food and the high quality. I was very oppressed.

We will be returning back VERY SOON!

Dimsum: shrimp was fresh, chow mein was horrible, so dry, overcooked, too much oil, beef chow fun was bad, too much oil,no taste, also they put too much meat softener in the beef, made the beef taste weird. Clay pot beef stew was no taste, the beef was so chewy. Daikon cakes was too soft, the siu mai, shrimp har gaw were good.

Tried this place out from a tip. Place was clean, busy and bustling. Great little dim sum place. Food seemed fresh and made to order. Saw a crab dish I wish I ordered, but there is always next time which I see in the near future.

I came again 6/29/2024 and was again impressed w the food. Try the Salted Fish and Chicken fried Rice, Spare Rib and Chinese Sausage Rice Bowl and BBQ Pork Slices. All were a delight to scarf down.

I was at Portuguese cooking class in Lisbon when I learnt of this place in my very own backyard from a fellow participant. She highly recommended it and now I highly recommend it… Food absolutely amazing, the best dim sum place I have been to in the Bay Area. Quantity and quality and price factor is biggest win… Warm and friendly staff. Do not expect a fine dining ambience, it’s a decent sized clean place.. I was so focused on food that I forgot to click pictures …
