This restaurant is run by a family that truly cares about the food they serve and the establishment they operate. The dim sum here is legit and quite good. The shiu mai, the har gow, the rice noodle rolls, and the pork knuckle here are great. If you love baked buns, get the baked BBQ pork buns, the baked ube buns, and the baked custard buns. The dishes beyond the dim sum menu are authentic Cantonese and great here as well.

Tried this place out from a tip. Place was clean, busy and bustling. Great little dim sum place. Food seemed fresh and made to order. Saw a crab dish I wish I ordered, but there is always next time which I see in the near future.

The place was crowded, but service was fast. Dined in and was served immediately. Check out my photos for the dishes I ordered. I will definitely be coming back for more dim sum and will try their traditional Chinese food dishes. Great job Creek House or should I call you Crack House!?!

Finally satisfied my cravings for dim sum after a long time. This place hits the spot. Service was fast but be prepared for a wait time on a weekend. My husband and I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated so it wasn’t too bad. Will surely come back for more dim sum galore!

I’ve known the owner since their first restaurant in Concord, and posted a 5-star review since he made the best Cantonese cuisine I’ve tasted in the East Bay but not sure what happened recently to this branch, change of cook/manager, maybe? Dim sum is available all day long now, although mediocre. We were there for dinner and ordered fresh peashoots with garlic, fried whole sole with dipoing sauce and braised pork belly with pickled greens梅菜扣肉. Everything was delicious but the pork belly would’ve been better with less lean meat, which caused the pork to be a bit dry. Still enjoyed the dinner and will be back.

This is our go-to dim sum place near Lamorinda area!! Very friendly staffs, authentic Hong Kong dim sum, and best of all? They speak Cantonese (Chinese) and you know that’s the real deal. Kids really LOVE their piggy custard buns, always a great time at Creek House!!

I finally got a chance to check this place out. I have a friend that lives out in Oakley and will travel to Walnut Creek for this place. I now see why he does. My son and I came a little after 5. Not a lot of people, and of course that was preferred on my end. We ordered the basics. I wanted to get a feel of the flavors and portions, since it’s my first time. Everything hit the spot. The portions and size was perfect. The service was attentive. Food was delicious. Fresh, everything came out hot. Right out of the steamer/fryer. 6 items plus tea was just under $50. Not bad. When I paid I told them that we will be back and that my son loved their food. I never tell any restaurant that I’ll be back. But this place, I’m coming back. If you’re in the area, please check them out. Great mom and pop shop. Will start supporting their business. Great feel.

Best Damn good Dim Sum in Town! Try their Hargow, Shumai, Shrimp meatballs, egg pastry desserts..it is a tasty smorgasbord of deliciousness! It’s warm, inviting, and a great value! The owners are gracious, food is hot & fresh, great variety of dishes are also offered apart from dim sum and with an extensive menu with so much to choose from, it felt like an Asian version of Cheesecake Factory. Seriously, try this spot out. A gem in downtown Walnut Creek!

I have read other reviews about this establishment and wanted to try for some time. I grew up on Dim Sum in San Francisco on Clement Street but always wanted to give other areas a chance.
