Okay. I had never heard of this place but I was brought here by a friend for a celebration. And let me tell you what…. EVERYTHING was amazingly delicious. We had drinks, monkey bread, grilled oysters, raw oysters, deviled crab, steak, barbecue gulf shrimp with the pimento cheese grits, butter whipped potatoes, heirloom blue crab rice, coconut cream pie, chocolate peanut butter tart, and the caramelized Texas Toast. The highlights for me were the devil crabs, the monkey break was to die for, the filet mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and my absolute favorite dessert was the caramelized Texas toast. We went to the Speakeasy after and had such a great time. Live music and the staff at both places were top tier! I can’t wait to come back. Everything was amazing.

Came here for brunch because I’ve been dreaming of having their Cornbread Gnocchi again and it didn’t disappoint!

First we got the Deviled Crab and Monkey Bread. The crab was delicious, sweet, and very flavorful. The urge to dip my bread to soak up all the sauce was very strong lol. I also ordered a cappuccino, made with oatmilk (I appreciated the option). Very smooth and creamy.

I knew the Cornbread Gnocchi was going to SLAP but I went ahead and added shrimp as well and with ZERO regrets. My mom ordered the shrimp and grits and she absolutely loved it. Very generous portions and excellent service!

My mom already wants to come back for her birthday

Credence Houston delivered some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, every staff member checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Even better—if you have leftovers, they clear them from the table and hold them at the hostess stand so you can mingle freely. They give you the cutest gold keychain with a number to grab your food on the way out. Such a thoughtful touch.

The food was incredible and everything was seasoned to perfection. I could eat 10 orders of the deviled crab and still want more—I’ve been craving them ever since. We also had the ribeye, snapper, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, the snapper sauce is literally drinkable, and the cabbage melts in your mouth. I can’t wait to come back—next time for the grilled seafood tower.

Came to to Credence for weekend brunch but opted for their more savory options. The half chicken was juicy and very flavorful, would definitely recommend. Our server Tu was awesome and had a lot of great suggestions for us. Space is quite large and ideal for bigger groups.

Joined another couple for dinner here and loved everything about it! Right off the bat, the wood fire smells welcomed us and made us feel cozy and warm. Great atmosphere.. high ceilings and trendy decor made for easy conversation. The playlist was really good too focused on easy classic rock. Cool artwork too. Plus any restaurant that quotes Billy Joe Shaver on their menu rates high on my list!! Has the snapper( perfection!) while the others had chicken or steak. Arrived timely and served with great care. Thoroughly loved this new pick for us!

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! I started with the oysters topped with caviar, and wow—I never knew how much I needed that combination in my life. The flavors were fresh, rich, and absolutely unforgettable.

The chicken was perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy, and the crab rice was a standout dish with fresh, flavorful crab and the perfect texture. Every seafood item tasted exceptionally fresh, and the overall quality of the dishes was impressive.

Highly recommend for anyone who loves elevated seafood and exceptional flavor!

This spot is such a gem for the area! The food blew us away and the drinks were just as good. I wish I could remember our server’s name because he was fantastic, super friendly and made great recommendations. He convinced me to try the cabbage (something I’d normally skip), and wow… one of the best side dishes I’ve ever had!

The fries with all the dips? Unreal. If fries are on the menu, I’m ordering them no questions asked.

After dinner, we checked out their speakeasy. Such a cool vibe! You can even order food there (smaller menu), but just a heads-up it does come with a minimum spend.

Already can’t wait to go back!

Love Credence, always have a great time as it was my second time visiting, the service especially is amazing whenever we come, the oysters however did have extra peanuts and the ice cream’s consistency was very grainy, although I know it was buttermilk, it was a little unpleasant. Overall it was a great experience!
