My husband and I stopped in for lunch while in the area. The server was very nice and did his job well. Food was good. They have a large menu. I didn’t care much for the salsa, but not everyone agrees on everything. Overall, nice place to eat. Nice atmosphere and art on the walls. We would eat here again.

The food was awesome and our waiter was super kind and none of this was his fault whatsoever, but I had complaints. For one, the Pepsi tasted straight up disgusting. 2+ people got it at my table and it was ALL horrible. Second, I got a box and the inside was COVERED IN FOOD? Hello? Also, the table we were sat at was quite dirty and too small for my party. But that’s all. I come to this place a lot and it is never like this.

First time going to Crazy Mexican, ot was delicious! Fresh made guacamole is outstanding, made at the table. My wife had shredded chicken tacos and really liked them, I had the Burrito Behl and it was tangy and tasty. The salsa was great, has a bit of spice to it which we liked. Would highly recommend! Atmosphere was excellent as well.

I enjoyed my experience the guacamole at your table is really nice and the margaritas were strong and not too too sweet. Our waiter was great, really nice guy. I wish the food was a bit less salty, but that could have been a random occurrence. Will definitely try again.

Normally, I’d rave about Crazy Mexican—it’s my go-to spot for bold flavors and unforgettable meals. But after our recent Sunday visit, I’ve learned the hard way that timing matters. Weekends? Fantastic. Sunday? Not so much.
It all started with the empanadas. We ordered them expecting the usual savory crisp, but the center of each was noticeably cold. Not frozen, but clearly undercooked. Then came the tableside chunky guacamole—normally a treat. This time, it was disappointingly small and drowned down dressing(not in the right way). The chips tasted stale and lacked the fresh crunch we’ve come to expect.
Service was sluggish, and it took far too long to flag down a wait staff. Once we finally placed our usual order—two “Insane Fajitas”—things didn’t improve. I counted just 2 shrimp husband had 3, and the steak was suspiciously pork-like. My husband and I debated it, but I’m convinced it was pork. The sizzling platter wasn’t even hot; I literally picked it up with my bare hand,(I had to prove my point to my husband) and on a Friday that plate is sizzling.
Overall, Sunday felt like a different restaurant altogether—off in both quality and energy. If you’re heading there, I’d strongly recommend going on a Friday or Saturday when the kitchen’s on point and the vibes match the name. Sunday, sadly, was far from “insane” in the good way.
Side note credit card issues as well.
