We ordered the Steak Po Boy and BBQ Shrimp. Everything was awesome. Some of the best food we have eaten lately. Was well seasoned, steak was tender. We will go back to eat again. Place is orderly and clean. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Food and drinks without alcohol was $40 ish, so prices are very reasonable.

The Hawaiian ribeye and crazy potatoes were really good. The jalapeño margarita was excellent and the cheesecake was pretty good as well. The service started out okay but then it got better, initially it seemed it bit awkward. Harahan location!

It was my first time visiting Crazy Johnnie’s since it reopened. The dipping bread and crazy potatoes tasted exactly how I remembered from years ago! Perfect, buttery mashed red potatoes! The 8oz filet was also perfectly tender. To top off the night the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was divine.

Great be local place. The service was outstanding and the owner is nice and engaging. The NOLA BBQ shrimp are some of the best in the area. Or prime rib was tender enough to cut with a fork. You have to try the mashed potatoes. Y’all should go try it out.

I went with my family to try this new restaurant, but it was a complete mistake. We spent $125 for three people and the food was awful. We ordered chargrilled oysters (Which they were not in the menu but I knew they sold. Sell them there because of the reviews in Google plus they’re $33 – not worth) and I was surprised they didn’t add any butter. They had no butter at all. It tasted like raw uncleaned seafood. I left that place angry because it was expensive and the food was bad. The steak and mashed potatoes my husband ordered, I could have made at home and it would have been much better. The meal I ordered was redfish that came with some vegetables and mashed potatoes, and everything on the plate was COVERED in butter. Honestly, it was a mistake to come to this restaurant. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I really left that place angry. We came in at 8:00pm and received out food at 8:43pm. The restaurant wasn’t FULL.

Food is very salty and buttery. Good fast service though. I thought it was ridiculous they charged an extra $10 for a topping of cream sauce and shrimp on the red fish we got. I only got it because I saw a video on instagram where someone got the topping and it had a ton of huge shrimp. Mine has 1 tiny little shrimp and for $10 it was a complete joke. I’m docking a star for that but otherwise the food was amazing especially the filet poboy. I recommend to the owner to change that $10 topping price or actually make sure it is worth it with more shrimp because it was laughable.

We came all the way from Belle Chasse because I heard great things about Crazy Johnnie’s. Unfortunately we went to the Metairie location and was extremely disappointed. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. Food was ok, service was underwhelming and the atmosphere was very odd. Needless to say we left with the intention of never returning. Friends of ours went to the Harahan location when it opened and gave rave reviews, so we decided to give it another try.
When I tell you the entire experience was the complete OPPOSITE. Food- Outstanding! We had Kittie as a server and she was amazing! She kept us very entertained, and catered to our every need. Such a pleasure to have her wait on us. The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. The bar itself is beautiful, so I thought it was odd to have menus covering it up. As I said before the whole experience was top notch. My only suggestion is to so off the beautiful bar and not cover it up. We will definitely be returning.

I was disappointed, brought my daughter for dinner after a long flight home to visit from Hawaii. The pasta seemed reheated in the microwave and I asked for my protein med well instead it was med rare. I did send back. The charbroiled oysters were ok, the dipping bread was delicious. The owner introduced himself(Mike) very nice. Camera man took several pictures of certain ppl but not my table and my daughter and I wondered why he stopped by but just stared. I won’t be visiting again. My daughter enjoyed shrimp poboy.
