I love the way they fry their meats. As you can see in this photo, the pork chips were fried perfectly. I enjoyed the potato salad which was flavored nicely with red and orange bell peppers. The collard greens were seasoned pretty good. I’ve had their candied yams which are good as well. Nothing is overly seasoned. I highly recommend and will be ordering again from them. I don’t know what the premises look like as I only order from online.

Well my friends allow me to direct you this place! I know i know the exterior is not much and the interior could use more a bit more decor. But that’s not why you’re here! The magic happens in the kitchen and you won’t be dissapointed after you’ve tasted the Catfish nuggets or the fried Chicken which has a ingrediant has to be love with good service and a friendly staff this place is truly a Staple of Baltimore and a Must Eat when you come to the city!

I’ve only ever ordered on DoorDash. My food (whiting, wings, fries, potato salad, candied yams) has always been AMAZING! I haven’t had fried fish like this since my mama passed. Flavorful, not too hard, and flaky. They also serve the fish and other items with various bread options, which is welcome. The chicken is fried to perfection and will definitely hit your wing thing.

The food is absolutely amazing- and the service is 5 ☆☆☆☆☆. If you like soul food I suggest you try out this place I can promise you that you will go back again and again. The only thing that I wish they would change is the hours – they only open from 12 noon -5pm and closed Sunday and maybe its just me I think Sundays are a perfect day for soul food like they serve. Listen to me go check them out.

Although they have an eat-in space for you to enjoy your meal, most locals do take out here, which is the main reason I gave it a 3 star for Atmosphere. This restaurant was a poplar go-to spot at its former location about 7-8 blocks away but has recently expanded it’s reach when it moved to it’s current location. Boasting of some of the best American cuisine down home soul food on the westside of Baltimore City, you’ll find a variety of favorite items on the menu. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. The friendly staff is waiting to serve you!

Location is great if you can find entrance, very small parking spaces and no handicap parking. The was just average. Prices were high for the quality of food. Service was fair, owner wanted to know what my thoughts were first time being there. Atmosphere, the place was very spacious but their was only 2 customers, myself and one other.

The management kept the very strady crowd of customers moving. Pick up orders were ready when people arrived. I love that he thanked us for coming when we left and that the staff didnt have the syrup from the yams running all over the styrofoam container. Hate that! Staff wiped the tables after guest in a timely manner. Nice place to sit for a few and get a decent and affordable meal particularly if you wany something WITHIN 10 minutes!
