I’m not supporting CRAZY DOWN HOME CHICKEN ,,, EVER AGAIN …
Today I went to my appointment and stopped to get something to eat. I ordered a chicken box . A homeless man came and said “Can you help me get something to eat?”
I had $11, I gave him $6 and he left out the store.
A customer said “ I don’t give them money I buy them food, because if they hungry than the food is what they want.”
I told her it’s my money and someone gave it to me. If that was Jesus asking me to help. I just help. I than asked for a ginger ale because I felt sick.,,,,,Do you know the Chinese man behind the counter said “ No” “I will not sell to you to give to him. “
WHAT WAIT; I told him GIVE ME ALL MY MONEY BACK, CANCEL MY ORDER AND PUT EVERY DIME BACK ON MY CARD. The soda was for me the homeless man is gone and you have the audacity to take half my money and refuse the other half because I WANT TO SPEND MY MONEY ON HELPING MY PEOPLE.
YOUR HERE MAKING MONEY IN OUR COMMUNITY AND REFUSING HOMELESS PEOPLE WHILE YOUR TAX FREE 7 YEARS. WOW! You should SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY YOU GETTING PAID IN.

The catfish was fried perfectly and the food was delicious!! The area is grungy but the food is popping! The cornbread was very tasty also. The sister behind the counter was very friendly and their customer service is good. Very surprised find.
The potato salad is !! So is the baked Chicken !!
Owned and run by very kind and respectful Korean family. Every time I go there the gentleman is always very kind and nice. The food is always hot and fresh and the catfish nuggets are fire !!! Wonderful baked chicken and I’m so happy the sides don’t have pork in them. They are closed in Sunday’s, just FYI. Wonderful new location and your order comes out fast every time I go. My go to spot in East Baltimore!

The about 9 iron wobbly steps to enter the restaurant was very slippery and because it was so high it is dangerous. I did not have shoes with rubber soles. Absolutely no handicap person should attempt to challenge those entry steps. No wheelchair-bound person has a chance of seeing the stright filth within this building. The interior/seating area is undeniably filthy; from the floor to the ceiling. The bathrooms (I’m guessing they were cause there were no other rooms to enter) were blocked off, where they could not be used. The meal I ordered looked good but the absolute filthiness of the place made me hesitate to eat it. So, I can imagine how less things are cleaned where I could not see. So, where is the city’s inspectors? There is no reason for this type of filth to be allowed just because its not a downtown restaurant. I saw people sitting in chairs eating from their laps. The prices seemed reasonable. I’ve personally have never seen a food establishment so dirty anywhere! And I grew up in Baltimore. And there is a large elderly community in the area that have no chance of managing those dangerous steps without mountain climbing gear. Which may be a good thing cause the germs breeding in that place may harm them. This place should be shut down and renovated and maintain according to modern-day standards, regardless of the community it’s in. How the people in Baltimore is treated is sad.

The management kept the very strady crowd of customers moving. Pick up orders were ready when people arrived. I love that he thanked us for coming when we left and that the staff didnt have the syrup from the yams running all over the styrofoam container. Hate that! Staff wiped the tables after guest in a timely manner. Nice place to sit for a few and get a decent and affordable meal particularly if you wany something WITHIN 10 minutes!

Needless to say After traveling 1,110 miles, (Jax-Bwi) The first thing you want to do is eat! Who Woundn’t after munching on stale chips and flat ginger ale. Well my friends allow me to direct you this place! I know i know the exterior is not much and the interior could use more a bit more decor. But that’s not why you’re here! The magic happens in the kitchen and you won’t be dissapointed after you’ve tasted the Catfish nuggets or the fried Chicken which has a ingrediant has to be love with good service and a friendly staff this place is truly a Staple of Baltimore and a Must Eat when you come to the city!

I love the way they fry their meats. As you can see in this photo, the pork chips were fried perfectly. I enjoyed the potato salad which was flavored nicely with red and orange bell peppers. The collard greens were seasoned pretty good. I’ve had their candied yams which are good as well. Nothing is overly seasoned. I highly recommend and will be ordering again from them. I don’t know what the premises look like as I only order from online.

They didn’t have baked chicken which is the reason I came there. They’re the only restaurant that I can find on Google that had baked chicken. I then asked for fired chicken, but it was gonna take 24 mins which I didn’t want to wait for. So instead, I got the baked turkey wings with candies yams, cabbage, and a roll. The candies yams was great, not too sweet, and the cabbage was tender but yet still had a bite to them. If they baked their chicken & flavored them like their wings, I’d come back. Hell, I’d like to try their fried chicken also.
