We were so excited to try this newly opened crawfish place & it did NOT disappoint! We got takeout for New Year’s Eve & the moment we pulled up, we could see a worker with a giant pot that smelled like Cajun heavenly goodness. We got the “Sportman’s combo” which came with a pound of crawfish, a snow crab cluster, a 1/2lb of shrimp, huge potatoes, a few corns, cocktail sauce & their amazing crawdad sauce. We got an extra 2lbs of crawfish as well! The seasonings, spice, quality & overall flavor of everything was absolutely phenomenal. The entire time we were eating, we couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything was. I can’t wait to go back & try more, especially during crawfish season! Also gotta love the convenience of a drive thru!

First and foremost I get this place is fairly new. However, I’m picky when it comes to my crawfish and Crawdad didn’t deliver the fix. The crawfish was blah- no flavor/seasoning(s) on the outside. The potatoes were gross since not being soaked in the seasoning and corn being ight.

I came through here with some crawfish on my mind, the business is fairly new so I wanted to check it out on payday.
The service was really great, I love being greeted with a friendly face. I ordered the Sportsman’s combo to try it all.
The flavor really exceeded my expectations and being from south Louisiana my expectations when it comes to boiled crawfish is usually too high but this place did good.
That’s where the good reviews end and the not great reviews start. I have taken into consideration the fact that I went a little early in the season explaining the crawfish being very small. What I didn’t expect was for a good amount of them to be totally mangled and smashed. They looked like they had been very poorly and roughly handled. Quite a few had been dead before they were cooked, which is obvious by how the tails are straight out instead of curled.
I was expecting, for almost 50$ to get at least one whole crab. We got half of a crab and maybe 7 little over cooked shrimp.
I really was hoping for more bang for the buck. The great flavor wasn’t great enough for me to return and spend more of my hard earned money. It’s a shame and I don’t see the place lasting 2 years.

I tried this place for the first time today and there were good and bad things about it! The flavor and spice level of the crawdads were perfect, but for every 1 crawfish I grabbed, I’d find another 2 that were broken in half and dried out. There were also several that still had mud caked on the bottom between their legs. Additionally, the 2 potatoes I got weren’t fully cooked to the point where I couldn’t split them in half to cook or bite through them all the way. The girl at the window was SUPER sweet and willing to answer any questions I had as well. I know I came through at 5:30 on a Friday and they had just dropped a new batch, but I was a bit disappointed. I’m willing to try again at a time that maybe isn’t so busy! Hoping it improves. Keep going, guys!

Man those crawfish were on point. Even with them being small for this time of year they peeled perfect and had lots of flavor. Even had a neighbor come over and try them. He said the same. Just hot enough to make the lips tingle but easy enough the kids were chowing down. Thanks for the extra too.

Ordered half pound of boiled shrimp and everything from the potatoes to the corn was pretty tasty. Hopefully next time I can ask for extra seasoning, we’ll see. Will go back in near future

The crawfish was very good, the corn tasted like it was over cooked or something, i never tasted that before. But other than that it was good. Will be back for crawfish.
