We had the lobster and crab ravioli, the andouille and shrimp jambalaya, and the beignets. The ravioli and cream sauce were really tasty but the portion was quite small, 5 ravioli for ~$20. The shrimp and sausage were good but the rice in the jambalaya was more spicy than flavorful, very tomatoey, and tasted a bit like a mix. The beignet recipe also could have used something, maybe more salt in the dough. The interior is very cozy and the staff were friendly. I would come back but I’ll probably try some different dishes next time.

Honestly, I’m such a fan of this place. I was looking for food a bit later in the evening and this place catered to everything I wanted. The food is filling, well-made, taste fantastic, and the service that comes along with it is beautiful. I felt welcome and a very homey vibe throughout my entire experience.

The Shrimp Po’ Boy was seasoned very well, the bread it’s served on has the crunch on the outside but soft, and the quality of the fish used I could tell was high right after my first bite. The Mac & Cheese tasted great as well’ not too salty, the cheese flavor was honestly addictive and the portion size was crazy big! I will absolutely come back to this place in the very near future and an absolute first recommendation to anyone in the area and nearby cities Thanks Mitchell & Staff.

Everything we had was great! It was one guy running the whole place. You ordered using a QR code at your table.

The food was very good, well cooked and seasoned.

Our family had a phenomenal time here! The location and restaurant are really well placed and architectured. The food was phenomenal. I tried all the dishes from everyone, and each one was packed with flavor. Really fast service, as well! There were plenty of options for non-seafood eaters, too. I 100% recommend this place.

I have been craving some good jambalaya and they did not disappoint.

We we entered the owner/chief told us he was just making the jambalaya and it would be a 30 minute wait. So we went to Birddog Baking and The Rocket to burn up some time.

I had it with sausage and chicken, my wife had the chicken.

Man was it ever great.

Can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu!

All I gotta say is that Mitchell knows how to throw DOWN in the kitchen. My partner and I got the shrimp po’boy, hush puppies, Crawdaddy Feast, and beignets with caramel sauce and raspberry sauce. The shrimp on the po’boy was seasoned and cooked perfectly, hushpuppies were gone in less than a minute, and the boil is the best we’ve had in the A2/Ypsi area. We will definitely be coming back with friends and family. Come support!

Nice place that recently opened. We ordered catfish, fries and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was delicious! We’ll go back and try more.

8/22 – have gone back a few times and they have been closed. There was a sign on the back door, Thursday with hours 5-11, but the door was locked. .I didn’t want to walk around the building.

My husband and I had never had any type of seafood boil before — I had never even eaten crab before. We decided to come here because we heard good things about it, and we wanted our first seafood boil experience to be positive. Behind the counter was the owner and sole worker, Mitchel(?). He was taking food orders and cooking food as fast as he could. He was amazing to watch and super kind. I ordered a half pound of snow crab and my husband ordered a half pound of crawfish. Both orders came with corn, potato, and sausage, with lots of cajun butter. We were also given wet wipes, bibs, gloves, and utensils to help us crack into the shells. I was a little nervous because normally I avoid seafood but today was the day I’d go all in and I have to say that it was amazing. The owner is a fantastic cook, our meal was perfect and I can’t stop thinking about wanting to go back already! The crab was so tender and flavorful and all the sides were delicious too, especially smothered with the butter. I ranted and raved about this place when we left. We will be back, hopefully with friends!

The catfish was delicious. The okra was more bread than okra but I guess some like it like that. The rice in the Jambalaya was undercooked and very hard. The shrimp in the sampler bag was good but the crawfish, I have never eaten crawfish that brown on the inside. My son ate dine in this evening and said his catfish was delicious as well and service was good. Maybe I received a bad batch of Jambalaya and crawfish this evening. As you can see in the picture I ate the fish before I could get a picture

What a gem in the heart of Ypsi! Husband and I split the boil sampler as an appetizer, which was a great start to our meal. The jambalaya was delicious and filling and my husband raved about his catfish poboy. Beignets for desert….sooooo good. Will be back!
