We have been wanting to go here for a while. We’re not “eat in” pizza restaurant types though. We like to pick it up and take it home. We decided to change tonight.
The inside is a small, single unit strip mall store. A few tables outside, maybe 3 tables inside with a bar with seating for about 10-12. They have a few craft beers in tap.
We started with Cheese Nuggets. Small round cheese balls served with marinara. Wife likes hers with ranch. They were very good. Next up, chopped salad. This was very reminiscent of the chopped salad at Andiamo’s Steakhouse in Vegas. Different on flavor but just as enjoyable. I think I could just order this salad and leave and been very happy.
We don’t order deep dish pizza. Ever. Too carby. Delicious, but we probably shouldn’t be eating it. You probably shouldn’t either.
I’m not a nutritionist, what do I know. We threw caution to the wind and went for it. We ordered the supreme. This pizza was downright awesome. After the cheese nuggets and salad we only had a room to eat a couple slices and took the rest home for dinner the next night. The crust was perfectly cooked and soft with that slight crunch on the edge.
If you want delicious pizza, try going here. We will definitely go back. Maybe we’ll try a thinner crust next time.
Very small restaurant with only a couple tables inside and three outside. Most people sit at the bar or do take out.
Did the butter crust, it took a full 40 minutes to get, but was well worth it.
Saturday I decided to warm a few pieces of the sausage side up for lunch. When I bit into the sausage I found out they put pepperoni under the cheese with the sausage. Checking the side with just cheese we discovered more pepperoni, very strange they would get both pizzas completely wrong. I understand mistakes in a very busy establishment but this place was far from busy. The crust also was very hard and not what I would call thin crust! I’ve been eating Chicago style pizza my whole life so I know thin crust and this was not a hand tossed thin crust at all. Well we tried it but in our opinion there are far better pizza places in town. Sorry for the terrible review but it is an honest review. Don’t believe we will give this place another chance after that fiasco!
Price was a bit high even considering we had a big order, customer service was 3 out 5, we were waiting for our takeout order, they offered us drinks while waiting making it sound as if the soda was complimentary since we ordered over $200.00 in food but then charged us another $15.00 for 3 sodas. Not a great experience.
Overall we liked it, nothing to write home about but very tasty.
