Visiting family in the area and popped in for a bite before shopping. They come here often and love supporting local! Loved the croissant breakfast sandwich! Perfectly made! Delicious! I later had one of my cousin’s favorite cookies from here (oatmeal). It was definitely the best I’ve ever had!

This cafe shop has been on my list for a hot minute, and today I finally had the chance to try it out.
Food: I ordered a Dubai matcha latte and a red velvet muffin. The drink was alright; there wasn’t anything special about it. Standard matcha with chocolate milk. Now the red velvet muffin was so dry, that it had a consistency of rubber. It was lackluster in flavor and barely had any cream cheese in it OR on it.
Service: I was not greeted when I walked in but was greeted at the register. The barista taking my order didn’t seem to know what drink I was ordering, so I had to point it out to her on the menu. The owner doesn’t wasn’t friendly either, she is a bit rude to her customers and workers.
Ambiance: When I first walked in, I immediately noticed the display case of baked goods, everything in the case seemed super cute and I noticed a lot of glitter on them. They had some chairs and tables, nothing special.
Overall, I had high hopes for this place, but for the quality of the food and service, I will not be back.

Amazing bakery items and food. They size their food differently here! Generous portions. I had a really chocolaty chocolate chip cookie that was delicious (not too sweet), and my breakfast sandwich was so fresh and filling. Highly recommended this little gem!

Everything I ordered this morning was delicious!! I ordered the cinnamon bun latte + sweet potato ham biscuit, and my immediate thought when trying my first sip/bite was YUMMMMM I also ordered sweet potato + strawberry hand pies to try with my family later; can’t wait to try it! I was on the look out for diabetic friendly desserts I can order for the upcoming holidays, due to not being able to tolerate a lot of sugar. I wanted to sample some desserts so I order 8 cupcakes…I put in for shipping since it’s “nationwide” to be on a Saturday. They didn’t come til Tuesday (I called and one person said Monday then someone else said Tuesday a week or so later). I called the second time they said it would come Tuesday and they would be able to send me a tracking number..I never received a tracking number. The day they were delivered I get a notification from my complex. As I open the FedEx box I noticed there is NO freezer packs nor insulation to keep any coldness inside (I paid $41 in shipping). I’ve ordered baked goods for loved ones before from other bakeries and it was nothing like this. There was a small roll of plastic wrap (What you roll dishes in/ glass when moving) and a fabric Walmart bag to prop the cupcakes in the box so they won’t move. Both packs were melted and one was even partially open.

Very nice vibe in this place! The staff were super welcoming when I walked in, clearly clueless about how to order. The menu is IMMENSE and they have tons of different bakery options that you can see in the display. I ended up going with an iced cappuccino and it was great! Definitely come if you want to support a local business in the Freemason area!

The baked goods are amazing! There are so many fresh bakery items to choose from, and they all looked delicious. We got the banana nut muffin, the cinnamon roll, and three cookies. The molasses, snickerdoodle, and brookie. All of the items we tried were delicious, but the molasses cookie was our favorite. The family who runs this business is extremely kind and welcoming. They took time to chat with us and were very friendly. Such a cute place to visit, and their desserts are a must try for everyone in the area!

Today I happened upon the cutest bakery in downtown Norfolk. As soon as I opened the door, the aromas of fresh flavors and sugary sweetness invited me in! The service; helpful, speedy and efficient with me barely sitting before I received my order! The owner, who was familiar with my partner who frequents, came over and greeted us with such a positive attitude! She explained her years of experience and they could definitely be tasted in our orders. The triple chocolate chip cookies… MOIST and FLAVORFUL!! So yummy! And the red velvet and cookies and cream cupcakes…. OUT OF THIS WORLD! Highly recommend and I highly encourage you to stumble across this gem!

We got a bunch of pastries and pre-made items from the displays. We were given plenty of time to look over everything and we felt comfortable asking questions. The gentleman who rung us up and got our items was very friendly and answered the best he could, asking for help from the woman who I believe was the owner. She would come out to answer and speak to us directly. Very helpful and friendly.

*My partner’s favorite thing was the Oreo cheesecake and mine was the cake pop (it’s HUGE), but everything we chose was good.

I think I should have tried the pastries and baked goods instead of what I ordered. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on brioche and the taste was not pleasant. The bacon was undercooked and chewy, the egg was runny, and I didn’t really understand the lettuce on a breakfast sandwich. I’ll give it another go but I wasn’t pleased with what I got this time. The ratings are so high so this must have been a fluke visit. The presentation and service was amazing though.
