North shore sandwich is delicious. Great maple flavor but not overpowering. Tots are a must. Crispy with a great dipping sauce (maybe a Chipotle aoili?). Worth the long lines in October. Resturant is clean, bathroom is clean.

The brioche sandwich bread is incredible and delicious. So much so that we ordered a second sandwich to share. The tater tots are perfectly prepared-hot and crispy-and the Crave sauce pairs perfectly with them. Finally, I am not a coffee person, but after hearing other patrons raving about the coffee I ordered a mocha latte. Oh my! Yum!

If you’re gluten free, this place is a must try. The breakfast sandwiches are made with flavorful and healthy bread. The pastries were an absolute treat, and the flat white was perfect!

My husband and I had breakfast here 3 days in a row – everything on their menu is so good!! Our favorites were the Steak & Eggs and Classic sandwiches, as well as the hot apple cider. You can’t go wrong with anything here though.

This was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. The staff is polite. The atmosphere is fine but really, it doesn’t matter. The food is what matters most.

This breakfast was probably the best food I had in Salem. Really great, elevated breakfast sandwiches, tots, and pastries. If you’ve ever had Eggslut, Crave is just as good or better.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and was super impressed by the quality of the food. Best tater tots I’ve ever had. The steak, egg and cheese was melty and delicious – almost like a breakfast interpretation of a Philly cheesesteak. The latte was also delicious! Service was efficient and friendly. I will definitely be back to try the desserts!

The door sighs open, the La Marzocco hums low,
No place to go until the people begin to flow.
And there on the plate, like sunrise reborn,
A steak and egg sandwich— perfection adorned.

The steak, seared bold with a poet’s intent,
Juices that tell you exactly where flavor went.
Egg yolk drips gold, like a painter’s delight,
Melting through bread that’s toasted just right.

A bite, and the world briefly slows in its spin,
A silence of joy hums deep from within.
Salt meets butter, pepper meets grace,
And time forgets motion—right there, in that place.

So here’s to the mornings that memory saves,
To flavor that lingers and comfort that stays,
To a small little restaurant where cravings behave—
Until you taste heaven, at a place called Crave.

TLDR: Steak and egg sandwich was to die for. They take their coffee seriously with the beautiful blue La Marzocco espresso machine. The place itself is quite small. On a Sunday morning, the line was out the door and there was no where to sit. I’d recommend going on a weekday to enjoy it fresh. This place should be required to visit.

Nice breakfast sandwich place that is close to a lot of the shopping in Salem. I got their crave breakfast sandwich. It was nice and very herby. I think I would have liked mine more if the yolk was even just a little runny instead of cooked solid. My friend got their prosciutto sandwich but opted to make it into a bowl with tater tots, which was fantastic, just a lot of food so come hungry.

The food was amazing! We had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich both with gluten free bread. The bread was delicious and held together well. The consistency was perfect compliment. The portions were a large size as well!
