Review: Crane’s Coffee – Warmth, Story, and Exceptional Flavor

Crane’s Coffee is the definition of cozy. The thoughtfully decorated space carries a unique personality that immediately feels personal and inviting. Every detail reflects the heart and story of its owners, Hunter and Maria—retired Army veterans whose love for family, service, and community is woven into the atmosphere of the café.

There’s a genuine sense of honor here—honor to their people, their journey, and those they serve. The staff is kind, gentle, and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

The Cuban coffee is excellent—bold, smooth, and authentic—and the pastries are fresh and delicious. Add in quick, satisfying breakfast options, and Crane’s Coffee becomes the perfect stop whether you’re easing into the day or on the move.

A place with soul, great coffee, and a story worth experiencing.

This place is SOOOO cute
I’m in love with the vibes, especially the literary art piece on the wall.
It’s super warm and cozy, a great place to meet friends to chat.
I was alone on this visit so tried reading an ebook, and heads up if it’s a busy time of day it’s a little noisy for quiet book reading. If you don’t mind the background chatter, you’ll be fine.
I ordered the Black and White Mocha and it was fantastic! ⭐
I also got a jalapeno cheese bagel with cream cheese. It was a delicious bagel for sure! I ordered it toasted and it was still a little cold when I was served. I would have liked it toasted more, but I’ll just make the adjustment by asking for a longer toast next time.
The drink came out pretty quickly, but it took maybe another 20 minutes for my bagel, I was about to wonder if they forgot it! Granted it was very busy so I understood and waited patiently. To my surprise when the bagel was served they apologized immediately for the wait and put a little card inside the bag for a Free Drink! This was completely unexpected but so appreciated. You can tell they value their customers and want to leave a great impression. I’m very impressed.
Free drink or not, I feel I most likely would have been back. Especially to try the coffee flight! I saw someone else ordered it and was immediately intrigued. But the customer service made all the difference and I will definitely be back. Thanks crew you’re awesome!

I had a few errands to run the other day and searched for a local coffee shop nearby. Cranes popped up, and I honestly couldn’t believe I hadn’t been there yet! It’s tucked away in downtown Acworth and kind of hidden from the main street, which made it feel like such a fun little find.

The inside was so cozy and thoughtfully done without feeling over the top. It just had that warm, welcoming vibe as soon as you walk in! I ordered two crème brûlée lattes to go for my husband and I, and we were both seriously impressed! They were so good!

Being married to a retired veteran, I always try to intentionally support veteran-owned businesses, so finding out this shop is veteran owned made it even better! We’ll definitely be back again soon

Such a cozy, welcoming coffee shop with a great atmosphere. The coffee is smooth and perfectly brewed, and the chocolate churro is amazing—crispy, sweet, and filled with rich chocolate. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Lovely place! Tried their seasonal menu, the butterbeer latte and it was delicious. They gave Maple a pup cup as well. The decor is very bookish vibe, which I loved. The jalapeno cheddar bagel is definitely a must try. Will definitely come back.

Tried for the fist time today. The black and white mocha was perfect and the croissant breakfast was delicious. Great place to grab a cup of coffee or stay and hang out for a while.

My family and I visited on Sunday, February 8 around 1pm with an intention to try the coffee flight, however it was not being served that day for an undisclosed reason. We purchased the special February lattes and an empanada instead.
The empanada we ordered was served to another customer before being returned then handed off to us instead. We promptly returned the mishandled food and were given a fresh order and an apology.
Overall the experience was disappointing. The food and beverages lacked flavor and missed the mark on feeling unique. The dining area was dusty and in need of cleaning. We had high hopes for this location but left feeling disappointed.

It was refreshing to hear from a business owner who truly cares about his community and the service his business provides.
Our visit is an example of an off-day and should not reflect the average customer experience of this business. This place has Latin warmth and heart; I am confident that by turning that passionate energy up a notch it can match the potential of the people behind it.
I look forward to visiting again in the future, not for the sake of a do-over, but to support this local business.

Their lemonade is really good. My sister and I asked for Cuban bread with butter and they were 4 small slices of bread for $2.00. I am used to una tostada a little longer with butter inside and toasted.

Wow. Just wow. This coffee is truly amazing! I had the Havana Caramel Latte with oat milk, and it’s honestly hard to put into words how good it was. Their Cuban Fusions coffee uses a unique technique where sugar is whisked into a portion of the hot espresso shot, elevating the sweetness and enhancing the flavor profile. You can truly taste the difference in every sip.

I also had the chance to talk with the owner, and he couldn’t have been more down-to-earth. You can immediately tell how much he cares about family, community, and sharing his passion for coffee. His family owned a shop in Cuba, and that heritage and love for the craft shine through here.

It feels great supporting a place like this—where the passion is real and every detail matters. This shop is a true gem and such a fantastic addition to the city. If you’re a coffee lover—or just someone who enjoys discovering something unique—you need to check it out.
