Sure it’s nice to eat at Isaac’s but there’s a new game in town and that’s why we went to the Craig TapHouse. A dozen beers of the local variety on tap and a casual indoor and a casual outdoor area to drink accompanying by the stonefly grill.
Can confirm both establishments are worthy of a visit and a choice pull of a favorite brew. Five of us had burgers four of us had this mushroom Swiss and everybody loved their pre-blanched fries.
Quality dinner quality Brew quality conversation in a quality town.

Excellent everything!!! Came here after waiting an hour at Missouri River Inn, and was served our food almost immediately. Fresh, seasoned fries, perfect burger patties, and great selection of toppings for the burgers. Very kind service and lovely atmosphere. A hidden gem for sure!

Traveled from Maryland to Montana for vacation!! My husband’s name is Craig and he thought it would be cool to visit Craig, MT. Craig Day!!! We came to the tap house, everyone was very friendly and thought that it was so cool that we traveled so far to visit Craig. Was told that there are 3 bars, 3 fly shops, 1 dispensary and it was the fly fishing capital of the world!!! Definitely if you are in Craig come and check them out!!! We had the best time!!!

The beer was decent and the atmosphere had potential, but my experience was a bit soured by the staff’s lack of understanding regarding service dog laws. I came in with my trained service dog, and I was asked to show a vest after I informed she was service—which, legally, is not a requirement. I politely informed the staff (I believe it was the owner) about my dog being a service dog and offered to show her ID then was asked if she has her vest. Please you have a few questions you can legally ask and does she have her vest is not one of them. It would be great if the team took some time to get familiar with service dog regulations to avoid making guests feel uncomfortable in the future. A little education goes a long way. That aside, the place has a lot going for it, but I hope the experience becomes more inclusive moving forward.

A fun stop in Craig. Good food. Good drinks. Big Dipper Ice Cream after a river float is wonderful. They have a dog friendly patio as well.

What a fun little taphouse with Montana microbrews, and great food. The hamburgers are amazing. There is also a grass area next to the building to hang out.

Pizzas looked good yet we had burgers. They were fine but we incorrectly expected them to be better than at Isaac’s given this place is focused on just two key food options. Great selection of beers.
And what a great terrace.
