It is a spacious restaurant but we had a 20 plus party an one of the staff got angry because we moved a extra table to connect to the already tables we were seated at. The 1 server we had was great but for a 20 plus party I would think you should maybe have an extra server because at some point you are sacrificing service. Thank you

I was very disappointed with my experience at Crafty Crab. I spent $45 on my meal, and the quality did not match the price. The crab was extremely dry, as if there was barely any sauce at all. On top of that, my seafood mix had far more mussels than shrimp, which was not what I expected. Overall, the food was not good, and I don’t feel I got my money’s worth. This is my second time experiencing poor take out I will not be spending my money here anymore. I’ll try juicy bucket instead. As you can see in the pic THERE IS NO SAUCE SMH

We were a bit of an exception due to some reviews we’d seen, but we had an excellent first impression. The place is very welcoming, clean, and very nicely decorated. The service was excellent, and the food, which included oysters, crab legs, and shrimp, was excellent. I recommend it and will return. I didn’t get the name of the person who served us, but she was very attentive and friendly. The price was reasonable.

Tatiana made our visit worthy. She is such a sweet, friendly, helpful server. Help us to order. Though it was a little too salty, food was yummy, and the presentation was nice, too. Place is wonderfully decorated. Visited in the middle of the week for lunch. So it was not busy. We all enjoyed our visit.

The food was okay. The fried fish was bland, too much of one-note. The seafood boil was okay but the corn tasted old and mushy and the flavors weren’t there. The service was slow but we didn’t need much outside of drink refills. The atmosphere was nice though. 6 out of 10, we’ll try this again one day.

When the mood strikes we visit this place for good eats. Get ready as there are great options at this restaurant and There is a sliding scale of heat and seasoning options. We Love the Shrimp Broil with Boom Seasoning! For us, 1 lb. Is enough for 2 ppl. The broil arrives in a steam bag which arrives with potatoes and corn. We have enough to take some home. We have attended and I’ve celebrated my own birthday here with a large crowd and they are super accommodating. They had this fried rice which was amazing, but it is not on the menu anymore. However, you will love their hushpuppies with honey. They have plenty of fried or grill food and drink options on the menu. There is space to rent upstairs for events. The main floor has a big dance floor a bar and plenty of seating. There is plenty of parking and seating outside. The wait staff is also pretty great!

My experience at this restaurant was incredibly upsetting and frustrating.
During our visit, my mother in law fell on the restaurant’s stairs and had to be taken to the hospital. It was a very stressful and emotional situation for our family, and we expected at least some basic concern or support from the staff.
Later, I returned to document the area where the accident happened and to take photos of the stairs. I respectfully asked the manager for permission and explained the situation. He completely refused to allow me to take any photos, showing no empathy and no willingness to cooperate.
Because of this behavior and the importance of documenting the accident, I was forced to call the police in order to exercise my right to take the photos. Only after the police became involved was I finally allowed to do so.
The lack of professionalism, humanity, and responsibility shown by this establishment is unacceptable.
I would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting this restaurant, especially if you expect basic decency and proper handling of a serious situation

Very clean restaurant, great waiter Jason, delicious seafood. I had Boil with King Crab legs and headless shrimp. The Bomb seasoning was so delicious!! My friends all loved their food, crab fries, calamari, chicken strips, crawfish, corn, and potatoes. No room for dessert. Sweet tea was excellent just as sweet as we had as a kid.

Stopped in on our way home from a trip up north. Pleasantly surprised at how nice the restaurant was and how good the food was. I got half lb of snow crab and black mussels with. Utterly garlic sauce. My wife got a pound of snow crab with Cajun. Plus they have some great options s for kids! Definitely recommend stopping in for a great meal!

BEST SEAFOOD BROIL I EVER HAD….HANDS DOWN!!! Had one of these near my home in Richmond but never tried. Gave em a shot at Potomac Mills location..OUTSTANDING! Enjoyed popular r&b music while sitting. Huge tv in front area and many posted throughout. You know what you getting once you see your food. Simply scrumptious! The sauces provided only complimented it. Hush puppies were crunchy buttery.
