I love the ambiance and how the decor comes to life! I ordered the king crab legs. I like it it came with 2 potatoes and a corn. Another positive is, they slice the Crab legs open so I didn’t struggle trying to Crack them open. I didn’t feel like I received enough due to the price. I mixed all the sauces and I will say I’ve had better, I was expecting a more bold taste for the boil. Plenty of parking. Huge bar !

I’d like to share my experience at this restaurant. Firstly, we’re not locals; we’re from Orlando, Lake County. We visited because of my husband’s job, and it happened to be his birthday. Knowing he enjoys seafood, I came across Crafty Crab and thought it looked promising. Although we’d never been before, I was impressed the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was fantastic, and our waitress was exceptional—definitely deserving of more than a 10 rating. She took the time to recommend the most popular dishes, and my husband loved every bite of his meal. When we mentioned it was his birthday and that it was our first visit, her service was outstanding. I can’t recall her name, but she was a young woman who would definitely remember us if you read this to her. We are grateful to her for making our dining experience so memorable. At the end of the meal, they surprised us by singing Happy Birthday to my husband, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, I give this place a solid 10 and can’t wait to visit again, wherever we may be. We were very happy with the excellent service and delicious food. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day special for my husband!

Very pretty restaurant. However, our entire party of 13 was there at 4:30 and we didn’t leave until almost 7. We didn’t receive one refill on drinks in this entire time. We had a large party so an 18% tip was included even though service was not adequate. My daughter ordered a pound of crawfish that were practically inedible, she only ate 4 of them, but because of the multiple warnings on the menu that they dont take food back she didn’t send it back and ended up going to sit in the car instead of continuing to try and eat them. My fried fish was ok but the onion rings were overcooked with hardly any onion, mostly batter. The bathroom was beyond filthy. When i went up to the counter to pay because our waitress has disappeared again i told the girls at the front that our experience had not been good they offered no options to make it right and no manager was called. I dont believe it was the waitess fault for the bad experience as much as it is poor management. Very disappointed. This is the first google review i have ever written, but this was beyond disappointing.

I dined at Crafty Crab while on a business trip, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
From the start, the service was awful. Despite there being only eight people in the restaurant, it took over 30 minutes for the server to even take my order. Once I finally placed it, the food arrived in a frustratingly disorganized manner—the hot butter was served 16 minutes before the crab even made it to the table.
As for the meal itself, it was a complete letdown. I ordered a $60 seafood platter, expecting quality, but instead, everything—**shrimp, mussels, clams, and crawfish—was overcooked and rubbery. It was almost inedible. After adding the tip, I ended up wasting $90 on a meal that I couldn’t even enjoy.
Overall, this was a terrible dining experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The poor service and subpar food make it a place I won’t be returning to. The only good thing? I’m leaving soon and won’t have to experience this again. 1out of 5.

Whenever I go here I always get good service. The food comes out fast. They are good at refilling drinks and asking if we ever need anything. The food itself is good priced and delicious. I love it here.

John as a manager you need to discuss with your servers the importance of customer service. In addition, not over/under cooking food. My dine in experience was horrible. No one came to take our order for over 10 minutes of waiting. And the servers in our area never said “be right with you”, etc. I literally had to get John the manager. Unacceptable. Train your ppl John and not just hire ppl to cover a shift. And lastly, as a server you earn your tip by your service with a smile. If not, find a job where you don’t have to deal with ppl directly. Get out together Crafty Crab Monroe St. Ya’ll going down.

My husband had the fried fish and french fries and he loved them.
And I had the dungeness crab with crawfish. Everything was exactly perfect and it was so yummy. I like opening up the big bubble of steamed food when it shows up at the table.
And crabs can often be cooked incorrectly. But these were not. They were perfectly cooked to juicy, tender perfection.
It’s so much fun. Crabs are like a comfort food for me.
The only thing that would make crafty crab better is the option for real butter.
