I finally get to try this place out. I personally love seafood boil. Just like other seafood boil, Crafty Crab serves fresh meaty seafood. My friends and I ordered clam chowder, a truffle fries, calamari, crab cakes , breadsticks, and a seafood platter with ramen.
The clam chowder was creamy. Not sure if it’s cause we each tried some to see if we like it, but I didn’t even taste any clam in the soup! The truffle fries were very crispy, definitely can tell it’s freshly made. Breadsticks and crab cakes, on the other hand, were slightly overcooked. They are no golden brown but darker brown color to me. Maybe that’s the way they cook and serve them. As for the main dish, the seafood patter with ramen, it was not bad. I normally order butter or max two flavors, but this time, the group wants to try triple flavors. It wasn’t bad but slightly salty, which is predictable, but definitely flavorful. This is the first time i add ramen to my seafood boil. It was delicious. The ramen soaked up all the sauce and flavors. Well worth trying.
Our waitress was very friendly and filled with smiles. Great service!
The restaurant itself was pretty big with many tables and, I believe, two party rooms. Great for special occasions and celebrations. They have a big parking lot so parking shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

I absolutely love Crafty Crab. The food is ALWAYS cooked to perfection. The hosts are friendly every time and they always ensure I’m taken care of.
To top it all off, I had a day off today and asked my kid what she wanted to eat so she asked if we could get Crafty Crab n watch movies at home. I said sure.
So behold….
I got some food for us but let’s just take a pause… The to-go bag… Look at how beautiful it is and how much cheer it brings!!! It’s incredibly personal amd thoughtful. I love it sooooooo much…. Literally. When I thought this place couldn’t get better then here they come screaming at my Christmas spirit!! Merry Christmas Crafty Crab!!! You’re awesome!!!

The service here is slower than molasses. You wait over 20 minutes at the bar for a drink that comes back tasting like lemonade, mind you I ordered a pineapple long Island. Then we get seated and after about 12 minutes the waitress comes over to take our order. We ordered appetizers that came out a few minutes before our main course. The quanity of food was great. The taste was basic. I ordered a second drink and up unti the timel I was leaving, I still didn’t receive it.the bartenders are horrible and inexperienced. Our waitress was nice, but I this is not a place I would recommend. For the cost of our meal which was. $245, the service should be much better.

Unfortunately the review isn’t about the food but more the poor management. I’m writing this review after 10 minutes of leaving the establishment. Make a long story short, the host was going to sit us in a section, I asked if I can sit closer to the live music, which a young lady who serves in the original section was going to miss out on the table, so she brought it to the host attention that she still wanted the table which I agree. She was kind asked us for our drinks. As we waited I heard (who he later identified himself as the owner) cursing at her. I mean nasty in ways I would never talk to anyone. In a manner no one deserves. I got up and told him that you dont speak to anyone like that and if her father was present would you be speaking to her that way, his short response was you don’t know what she puts us through and Im an owner of 3 restaurants, I know how to run a business, which I replied treat people like people and if you need to correct your staff do iy in private and that speaking to people that way will make you loose business. Which he replied he was a millionaire and asked for me to leave. Its sad to see or hear anyone being spoken that way. I pray the Lord softens that man’s heart and that girl finds a place that treats her like a human.

I really love this establishment. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy fresh seafood. Crafty Crab is conveniently located on Street Road in Bensalem, NJ. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and courteous. The restaurant is also very clean, with tidy restrooms contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The venue offers a cozy ambiance, highlighted by dim, inviting lighting. Crafty Crab hosts karaoke nights that are always entertaining and lively. I always have a great time here before heading to the Parks Casino nearby.

This is a great place to have dinner. The environment is super fun and the crabs are amazing. I came in there with my family on a Saturday night and we had dinner and watched live musicians perform. They were top choice musicians which made it a lot of fun. I would recommend this place to anyone!

It was my first time here, and I really wanted to love it. I was ready to give a 5-star review—until we realized we were charged for snow crabs we never received. Service was a bit slow, the live music was extremely loud, and the overall atmosphere felt chaotic. Be sure to double-check your bill, as we were overcharged.
