Let me just tell you that this place has got the best chicken I’ve ever had in my entire life. This was the most funnest place I’ve been in quite some time. They had 94.5 there today, you got to meet some of the UFL players and AJ McCarron the new head coach. The chicken was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely sweet, you couldn’t have asked for a better experience this was absolutely perfect!!!

Check out all the cool pictures and videos!!!

The atmosphere was good, great music, TVs with different sports playing. I wish I had a better review. I have been waiting to try this place. Menu is varied and they even have cocktails and ice cream. My first attempt to eat here was unsuccessful because their opening was delayed. Understandable, that happens. Second try was a Friday night in early December around 5:30. They showed they were open until 9. Got all the way there to discover they were closed with no signage shiwing an emergencyor any reason for them to be closed. The location is such that you have to backtrack a bit either getting there or leaving there. We were not happy with that but still wanted to give it a try. Came on Friday night (actually valentine’s day) at 6:15 p.m. We wanted a quick bite with no waiting or fuss. They were decently busy. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and 3 piece chicken tenders. They told us the wait would be 8-10 minutes for the sandwich. No problem- hot, fresh food is worth a wait. It was more like 15 minutes, still fine. The sandwich is a dry seasoning with a small squiggle of ranch. My husband didn’t like it, but to be fair, he expected a saucy sandwich. I thought it was good, but different. Fries are the sidewinders. Seasoned well and tasted good. I had the 3 piece tenders. Toast was dry and room temp. Tenders were a large size. I thought they were good. The ranch was good as well. It didn’t taste like bottled ranch, which was great. I paid extra for a biscuit. A few minutes after the food came, I realized I didn’t get my biscuit. When my husband went back to the register, he was told they were out of biscuits, they could make more but it’d be 20 minutes. They seemed to be more focused on counting the money in the tip jar. Why they’d do that in front of customers and well before the end of the night is anybody’s guess. If you order a small drink, know that it is kiddie size so you may want to order a bigger size. The coke in the machine for the customers was flat. So back to standing and waiting for drinks. One staff member said, oh, yeah, I meant to tell you about that. Why didn’t the fix it? Some of the staff were friendly and seemed to want to do a good job. I have resolved to give them one last try because I’d love to be able to get a good biscuit. But my husband will not go back. I’ve got to say they don’t seem to be starting strong. And in their location on 280, they will have to make their food and service worth going out of your way for, which they didn’t do for us. Hopefully these are kinks that can be worked out and they can be successful. I’m honestly reviewing in hopes of a better experience in the future.

I got the Southern Chopped Salad with the white lightening dressing. I really enjoyed it. They should give more than one dressing for the salad.

I didn’t know it was a fast food joint from the outside- thought it was a small “sit down and order from a server” type of place since they had alcohol. The menu was primarily chicken. Had the chicken strips meal and the curly fries. It was pretty good, but if it wasn’t fast food, I would not have ordered that. Either way it was decent, and good to know what they have to offer. The place appeared to be clean and the servers and counterpeople were courteous.
Two people was $33, so it’s no longer cheap to eat fast food.

The store’s not even fully up and I loved it! The curly wedge fries are delightful and solve an issue I have with wedge fries where they just get too thick. The curly cut means each fry is consistent with itself and doesn’t wear you out, and when they’re thinner they get wonderfully crispy. And the grilled chicken? I normally think grilled chicken is the “healthy” option; you get it because you should, not because you want to. But at Crafts? The grilled chicken tastes great! I am excited to keep ordering it. The service is quality and charming. Every person I spoke to made me a little happier for it. Strong recommend for anyone wanting to shake up their chicken menu from the usual suspects. Will be eating here again and wishing them great success!

I went to Crafts today and I’m from out of town. I usually go to the Crestline location but today decided to go to this location on the drive through Bama. I went in got the Eddie Deluxe which has chicken, bacon and cheese on it. I got it with a side of fries as well. I didn’t have to wait long and the sandwich came out fresh and hot and the fries crispy. I really really enjoyed my meal. It tasted amazing as expected. Anytime I’m in Birmingham I always stop by Craft’s and this experience I had today shows me while I’ll always continue to do so. The staff is so kind and the food always hits the spot.

great variety! Even has smash burgers for beef eaters. This our first visit so the four of us tried different chicken dishes and shared. The wings were the largest and best I’ve had. The chicken tortillas soup was also great. The only negative was soggy rice in the baja bowl. The rest of it was fine. Lastly the honey chicken sandwich with extra sauce, which exceeded my expectations. The fries are unique and the milkshake was a nice finish to an enjoyable experience.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I ordered 2 Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and a 6 piece wings, they said it was gonna be a ten minute wait on the chicken sandwiches and and we had to pull forward that was cool, no problem there, however when the lady walked outside with our food we checked our bags and both of the chicken sandwiches were plain, no Nashville hot, no pickles, no nothing, just chicken and bread, so when I realized I quickly tried to go to the inside to resolve the issue, however the same lady who brought my food out seen me reach for the door ( it was locked) and walked away as if I didn’t exist. I spent over $40 on this food and the least I could’ve gotten was my order to be correct, will not be returning!! Daves hot chicken in Vestavia is far more cheaper and they never mess up an order like this establishment. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I stopped in for dinner and ordered the bowl with rice, graveyard fried chicken and okra. It came with a biscuit. It was delicious and filling. The staff was great, knowledge and friendly. Kind of disappointed in the shakes size for the price but it was good. The manager was welcoming. The bathroom was clean. The lobby was very nice as was the whole atmosphere.

We ordered drive thru, on our way to work. Ordered Smash burger combo, add cheese and bacon, and 3 piece chicken tender combo w mild sauce, white lightning, and an addl southwest ranch. Both combos had wedge curly fries. Ordered a side of Mac and Cheese.

The Smashburger did not have bacon on it, and no one asked or suggested any additional sauces for the fries in either combo… Like ketchup…
The white lightning bbq sauce had a bit too much vinegar or lemon juice for our taste, as it was very acidic. Southwest Ranch was great as was the mild bbq sauce. Mac and cheese was incredible and well seasoned.

Biggest complaints are the lack of bacon I paid an extra dollar for, the lack of ketchup for the fries, and extra acidic bbq sauce. Good food otherwise, but would expect the service to match the menu price.
