The restaurant is beautiful, feels like you’re at a fancy dining room and not a restaurant. Pancake was amazing, biscuits and gravy looked perfect but I didn’t love the gravy. Son got the burger that was good, husband got the fried chicken and a side of potatoes to be a big enough meal. The poke bowl was ok, but not very filling. Staff was wonderful. Food almost took an hour, literally.

Stopped in for coffee & cinnamon roll while waiting for rental car. So glad car wasn’t ready yet! Really enjoyed our stop- great coffee, food and fantastic service from bartender – sorry I didn’t get his name.

We enjoyed a burger and the braised short rib. I loved having gluten free marked on the menu. Even a few gluten free dessert options!

I had an early breakfast, first time dining at this place. The customer service was okay. The food was not that good, I had smoked salmon with bagel and no cream cheese and it was literally the bagel and salmon it had too much onion which I really hate, no seasoning, no flavor. My friend had the same thing but with cream cheese and they put a lot of cream cheese. The orange juice isn’t freshly squeezed. Overall the food was 4/10 for me. The only thing I liked was the interior and the fact that they were open that early that’s all.

Cute and chic hotel bar. It was half full and pretty noisy, not recommended for intimate dining but a group or happy hour would be fun. At 6pm they were sadly out of red sangria so get there early! The brisket street taco was absolutely delicious and I would come back for happy hour to have it. The ceviche was small and just ok, wouldn’t order it again. The cochinita pibil pork plate was massive, plenty for two, just ask for more tortillas. This place was cute, bright and fun. I would come back for happy hour if I’m close by. I couldn’t see the menu on their mobile website ? I’ve attached photos.

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. As a vegan I am always happy to return when I know my food will turn out delicious and not like rabbit food. Even the breakfast food is delicious. We also enjoyed dinner here and can’t say enough good things about the service, vegan options, and quality of food/drink. We will return here when back in Portland.

Wasn’t staying at the hotel but popped in for breakfast with the family during our visit in PDX. The staff here are super super friendly and there’s a good selection of meal items for everyone. Stuffed French toast was super tasty!

Instead of going to Mother’s for the same old brunch fare you’ve had countless times, walk 1/2 a block up past all the tourists waiting at Mother’s because Trip Advisor told them it was the place to be, and go to Alto-Bajo. Your taste buds will thank you.
The Chilaquiles Verde which is basically tortilla chips, your choice of protein (i had the smoked brisket, wife had the shrimp which was an extra $4 FYI), 2 eggs any style of preparation, guacamole, salsa, and cheese. Try their hot sauce, it has a BBQ sauce like texture, spicy with a delayed onset (so apply carefully), and I like that its not vinegary at all.
The smoked old fashioned (not on their current online drink menu) was easy to drink. I am no Mezcal expert so I’ll leave it at that. I am a stickler on the proper ice cubes; which were not present here. The small cubes melt too fast and water down the drink. Give me a big clear cube.
Raspberry churro to finish off brunch. Its a churro with raspberry filling, raspberry dipping sauce, and some fresh berries (guess what kind) to top it off. One order comes with two 4″ churro sticks.

Not a ton of places open in this area of Portland on Sunday morning, but luckily CraftPDX was open. The service was great, our server Clark, was fantastic and the food did not disappoint. Great serving sizes to start the day.
