The place is cute, after an hour we had to ask where our food was, the food tasted pretty good but was cold, everything our table ordered was cold, our waitress never asked us how our food was after we received it, The menu has really good items, the place is cute, it has potential but the service was not good and after waiting an hour to receive cold food and to not even have the waitress ask how it was, it was disappointing. Also the fried cauliflower was mush definitely did not taste like the description and also came out cold. The margarita was good, but also the southington ocation is closed but Google did not reflect that so we drove there first, luckily the new location is only a few minutes away, but parking is not great there. Also asked for hot sauce and they didn’t have any …

Stopped in for Lunch recently to Craft Kitchen’s new location in Plantsville/Southington. Beautiful restaurant and huge. They’re fairly new in this location and they were slammed. I got a cup of Tomato Bisque which was served hot and delish. I had the homemade meatballs & baby burrata in a red sauce, basil, grana padana. I had the pastrami rachel panini. Tasted fresh and great quality, Smokey pastrami, marble rye, house slaw, gruyere, thousand islands. It was light and tasty. I enjoyed my meal and service, friendly staff and handled the relatively large noonish time flood of customers well. I’m looking forward to dinner here sometime soon.

Great food selection and friendly staff! Everything we ordered was delicious and came out great! Loved the atmosphere as well, very nice place! Stopped here after a long day of sightseeing towards the end of our week long East Coast vacation.

My husband and I were visiting Southington. I wanted something healthy, flavorful, and filling for brunch. We came across this beautifully designed and welcoming restaurant called the Craft Kitchen. Immediately, we were greeted warmly, and our takeout turned into lunching-in. Abigayle was our waitress, and with kindness, attentiveness, and efficiency, she waited on us. She took the time to explain in great knowledge what Wagyu was. It was an easy “YES” for me. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed the strategically placed decorations, the beautiful fireplace, and even watched some entertaining TV. When our food arrived, I could tell immediately that this was going to be an amazing meal.. and it sure was! Their prices are average. It’s not overpriced like some restaurants… the flavor of the burger was AMAAAAZZIIIING!!!! We are returning this week to Southington and will be DEFINITELY dropping by for my Wagyu Burger …. the best quality you’ll taste in a burger…. I dare you to try it!!! Great job, Craft Ktchen. And to the chef… SUPERB!!!

My wife and children went for lunch this past weekend and were very disappointed. On the one hand, the waitress was very friendly and the restaurant was clean with nice decor. Unfortunately, the food was a big let down. I ordered the Shrimp & Chorizo pizza and ended up sending it back after 2 bites. The crust was rock hard and incredibly dry. The shrimp were very overcooked and were a hard rubber consistency. My wife order the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles and the Dirty Style Smokey Drumsticks. The chicken and waffles comes with a sunny side up egg, which my wife doesn’t like, but when we asked if they could scramble the egg instead, we were told no. Odd that mixing up an egg before cooking it is too much for the chef, but we said that’s ok and just opted out of the egg altogether. The “fried” chicken that she got on the waffle turned out to be baked, non-breaded chicken. The Drumsticks were also baked, and didn’t seem to have any seasoning on them. Both my daughters had the kid’s burger which they liked, but the fries one got were cold and the side salad my other daughter ordered was slimy. I can’t see us giving it another try.

The food here is phenomenal for what I’m into. A favorite place to stop in with the wife. I wish that they offered a few of my favorite dishes on all of their menus rather than just lunch or just dinner, that nitpicking though. Have some less than stellar service but nothing egregious. The one super weird thing is the music selection. I know its a weird thing to notice but its all super weird cover songs. Also I miss be able to watch sports in this location (though not this restaurant) as it seems they only play atmosphere TV.

The food is usually amazing, but this time, the wings were overcooked, and the salmon burger was dry. The dessert (apple fritters) was a little raw in the middle.
