Went there for lunch and it was a pretty casual setting, with self-serve utensils, water, tea and sauces (very yummy chili sauce btw) and kiosks for ordering. The signature banhmi was huge and delicious, albeit slightly greasy. Will definitely go back again.

Absolutely loooove this place. The sweet dark soy tofu banh mi is incredible, and their Vietnamese coffee is great too! Excellent service. I really have nothing bad to say about this place— CrackleMi a great reliable option if you’re looking for a fast, delicious banh mi.

Excellent food with amazing value! Banh Mi’s are huge!!! Got the spicy lemongrass beef and Crack Mi banh mi along with the crispy egg roll! Chill vibes as well! There’s parking in the basement of the building for like $3 an hour

Ordered for pickup while at a friends place across the street, food was ready pretty fast but was a total letdown….We all got the combo rice bowl with brisket and chicken, and an extra soy egg each.

The meat was decently flavorful but the eggs were AWFUL. All 6 were way overcooked and basically inedible, such a waste. Also would not recommend the spring rolls, the rice paper was hard.

My spouse and I were on the hunt for a quick bite while we were out, and we need a place with a gluten-free menu. This spot is super convenient, just across the street from the library, so parking shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. It’s a kiosk, which means you won’t have to wait long to order, and it only took a couple of minutes from ordering to getting seated before our food arrived. The menu has tons of options, so you can really pick and choose what you want. Our food was absolutely delicious and savory, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stopped in on a whim and so glad we did. The food is excellent! Especially the pork belly!!

Everything was very fresh and tasty. It is now my favorite Vietnamese go-to restaurant in Washington.

Reasonably priced for exceptional flavor!!
I have eaten at many many Vietnamese places in the NW. CrackleMi is amongst the best!!

Really great value!! $12 banh mi that’s stuffed and tasty. The shrimp vermicelli is loaded with shrimp (only minor complaints cuz the shrimps were a bit dry). Will come back for quick and tasty dinner that won’t break our wallet.

Crackle Mi is a great spot for a quick and flavorful Vietnamese bite.

Their coffee served both hot and cold is hands-down some of the best I’ve had—strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced.

The banh mi sandwiches are fresh and satisfying, with crunchy bread and generous fillings. My only small critique is that the seasoning in the banh mi can be a bit on the salty side, could be the soy sauce. It’s still delicious, just slightly overpowering depending on the filling.

Overall, this place delivers great flavor and quality. I’ll definitely be coming back for the coffee and to try more items on the menu!

We love the chill ambience in the restaurant. There were multiples tablets to order your food from. Self serve filtered water, utensils, and sauces. It’s optional to clear your own dishes.

Lots of window and natural lighting, along with plants that draped from the ceiling. Even though they were fake they still looked nice.

I ordered the crackle mi bahn mi. It came with grilled pork, braised pork belly, a fried egg and the usual pickled vegetables. The braised pork belly was tender and fatty. Next time I’m going to order extra protein and Mayo. The bread was soft and crunchy at the same time, and the bread wasn’t too thick, which was perfect.

I can’t wait to come back and try the other items on the menu.

Fast casual Vietnamese food. Ordering via tablet and then delivery to your table. BanhMi are good and somewhat traditional. Nouc mam is tasty, lime and vinegar forward, just right amount of sweetness. Not far from Ballard locks.
