After ice skating the day after Christmas 2022, we called to make a reservation. The lady Sara on the phone said you have to go to their website to make a reservation and there was a 40 minute wait.

Very poor experience with takeout. I placed an order at 11:35 for an office group lunch. The website was very easy to use and gave me an “your order will be ready to pick up at 12:15. This seemed fair for the start of lunch. I actually arrived at 12:14. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, so I expected everything to go well. Since there wasn’t a pickup location I checked in with the host. They quickly replied that my order was being put together and would be ready very soon. Great! After 15 minutes of nothing, I checked in again… “It should be ready right away, they’re bagging it now. After a couple more 10-15 minute intervals with the same “it’s coming right out” response. I finally left with food at almost 1 pm!! I honestly feel I should have been offered some sort of discount or partial reimbursement for taking nearly an hour and a half to get an order together, but the manager barely even offered a sorry for the log wait.

Terrible service, Sierra was absent, too busy chatting in the kitchen. Southern Chicken consisted on 1 breast, 2 wings 1 drumstick which arrived tepid and overcooked, breading so hard could not eat it. Steak fries were frozen and mostly undercooked and a few burnt. Food delivered to another table and a differnt waitress had to bring it back to us, Sierra was a ghost. Never asked how our food was, never refilled our drinks. Wine was served in a whiskey glass. Have eaten at Cracker Barrel in TN.. no comparisson. Better chicken @tupelohoney Denver.

Food is always great here. Love the sugar cured ham especially if there’s marrow in it! Service is always great. We come here just to get their pancake mix and syrup from the store. Always like having some at home!

Out of dumplings and chicken fingers and chocolate chip pancakes. Eggs were over cooked, grits were awful and sausage gravy came 15 minutes after we were served the rest of food. Don’t think I see myself coming back.

Over all was good and got fast early checkin online. Payment online was convenient. Chicken n Dumplings was cold at first but once warmed up was great. Meatloaf was crumbly in middle but tast was good. Ham was too thin sliced for me but taste was excellent. Little trouble getting tea filled but was very busy and why I ordered glass of water. Will have try again since saw fried chicken plate that looked amazing. If that is as good as it looks, we have a Winner Winner Chicken

Had the county fried chicken. Yum! For the sides I had hash brown potatoes with some green beans with some bacon and onions in it. So good! Reminded me of the old days. Biscuits were fresh and went great with the meal. Topped it off with watermelon flavored iced tea for the perfect meal. Highly recommended.

I’m in the service industry and am disappointed with this experience. Our waitress was obviously new and with a manager (gentleman with gray hair and in all black) stood and watched as our drinks never got refilled while literally standing right in front of our table. We ordered cheese curds that never showed up and were completely forgotten about by staff. Then a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and okra. The mashed potatoes were extremely bland and dry with burnt okra. My son’s mini cheese burgers were also burnt. My boyfriend’s ham was also dry. Also obviously 2 out of 3 people were not touching their foods able neither the waitress or the management picked up on this. Our waitress was rarely around for me to discuss any other options. The nicest part was the cashier who sold us Necco’s which were the best tasting part of the entire visit.

We’ve been here a few times and it’s been kind of up and down each time. First time was a good visit but since then it hasn’t been the same experience. Miss communication between the greeter and the server. Took a while to bring out our food. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. We will be back, we do enjoy it here, just seems like a hit or miss.
