I went here for lunch a nice perk was I got an entree and because I did I was able to get a take home meal which I purchased for my brother for only $5. The food was great and good portions. Had 2 apps but forgot to take pics of the entree. They also had a great deal on the appetizers.

There is nothing like rolling into a Cracker Barrel Restaurant late in the evening after a long day of travel and loading up on some home cooking. Then hang around until breakfast. Love these places and the folks that work here.

Needs thorough cleaning lots of stuff had after taste. Iced latte had a yucky coffee after taste, and apples had a cigarette after taste. A different waiter staff member was talking about how much stuff had recently changed. My guest had heavy heartburn after the meal. The meatloaf of my piece was undercooked a little in certain areas. Loaded sweet potatoes were good portions were not generous oy thing that has changed was how clean the silverware was from the last time I went which was long before the pandemic.

We joined the wait list on the app, so there was no wait when we arrived. Today’s special is one of my favorite: the fried fish special. We both opted for this. I had mine with sweet corn and okra, while Dad had the traditional cole slaw and fries. Our server was attentive and unobtrusive.

I ordered chicken fried chicken and when I got it they had put it in such hot grease it was curled up like a burrito. The manager said well he would not have brought out that one piece. I was trying to tell them they had always served flat chicken like a chicken fried steak, but one even told me that a flat one was steak. I told them I knew the difference in steak and chicken. Then when I got home one cup of potatoes was only half full and one cup of gravy was about a third full. The Mac and cheese was only about one spoonful(small). I don’t plan on going back there again. That is two different times now. No wonder most of them are closing.

Overall good experience! They seemed to be short staffed this morning. Waited at the host desk for quite awhile before a waitress came to seat us. A few employees saw us there but continued to talk to other employees and never acknowledged us. Good was good.

The entry opens to the gift shop area which is very cramped so I’m not a fan of that layout (particularly when it’s busy). We went for Sunday brunch so it was quite busy. We put in reservations online about 30 minutes before heading there and we only waited about 5 minutes for our table. The service was definitely nothing to write gone about from the host to the server to the manager. We enjoyed the food and drinks though. They have great pancakes and I’d definitely recommend the biscuit beignets. Overall a good experience here.

As always, this Cracker Barrel location did not disappointment. I love Cracker Barrel and this was my first time going to this one. I called ahead to order. Haley was very pleasant and filled my order exactly as requested. No complaints whatsoever, and the food was ready when I arrived and checkout seamless!
