Nice laid back atmosphere. Great service. The food was flavorful and pretty delicious. The temperature could have been a little warmer on the fries. The portions are okay, not overly generous but enough most likely. Overall, it’s worth a go! The gift shop is a great place to search for all kinds of goodies.

What can I say we had amazing food and the best server we have had in a very long time. Cracker Barrel has always been good to us. I know sometimes the wait is long and the customer service has been just ok in the past. I will say this was not the case today. They definitely were super busy and even with that our server was top notch. He had a lot of tables and still never neglected us one bit. In fact he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. All of our food was hot and fresh. We had a good experience as always. We will be back soon.

It’s such a cute old timey style restaurant. The food is solid American food. But, I think their breakfast menu is the best. And, to top it all off, they have a really fun store. You can buy candy there that I haven’t seen since I was a child. Well worth a visit to the store even if you don’t eat there. And, they have wonderful holiday gifts.

I don’t really care to leave negative comments and if its 1 or 2 things that would’ve bothered me I would let bygones be bygones, but when 5 or 6 things happen it’s kinda hard not to think about them. Just before 9pm we arrived at the restaurant and they told us it would be a 5 minute wait before we could be seated, no big deal! They have the store to walk around so that didn’t bother me. What did was almost a 20 minute wait and no one came up to us and told us they were still working on a table. We were seated and our young waitress was quite polite and created small pleasant conversation while we ordered. No problem there. I ordered extra chives and tomatoes on my food. We got our drinks and I had to ask for biscuits. I remember coming many times before and they were brought to you with your drinks. When our food came I had no chives or tomatoes but my meal was still yummy so I chose not to say anything and shake a little extra pepper on my eggs. My wife’s mashed potatoes were cold and tasted old but the chicken was delicious and she didn’t want me to say anything because she also had chicken and dumplings and a side of corn. When we finished our drinks we weren’t asked if we wanted a refill because the next time our waitress came we were full and ready for the check. We took our Togo boxes and the check to the counter to pay and the young girl was talking on the phone. I stood for a minute to see if she hung up so we could pay and she kept talking. me and my wife wandered through the store for a few minutes until she had finished her conversation then payed for our food. Overall i love going to cracker barrel for the food and the atmosphere but this time around I left unimpressed and a little disappointed. Maybe we won’t go so late in the night next time.

I have always loved Cracker Barrel since I was a child. All the decorations, the gift shop, the food, atmosphere, plus the little peg game at each table….you really just can’t go wrong with Cracker Barrel. The service was fantastic. The place was clean as usual. Gift shop was filled with beautiful things from trinkets to clothes, home decor to toys/candy. I must admit the gift shop is a little pricey once you get to the clothes but if I had that type of money, I’d definitely pay it! There’s a plethora of toys and candy to choose from for all ages just about. The food was immaculate! You just can’t go wrong with home cookin.

We split two orders of the absolutely delicious southern fried chicken meals, each with two sides and also biscuits and gravy and cornbread, and split them between 3 people and still had leftovers. Afterwards the ladies went shopping in the attached store and found presents for everybody. A very pleasant experience.

Very friendly service even after we showed up at 9: 20 p.m. to order food to go when they close at 10:00 p.m. While we waited for our food We looked around the gift shop at all the cool and unique things that they had for sale. They had a lot of old items from back when I was growing up. All the old school games or mini versions like Pac-Man and qbert mini pinball machines, many old maid and war playing cards, all kinds of different pocket pets, mini cabbage patch kids, garbage pail kids, pez dispensers, connect Four, etc. They also have a bunch of different kitchen decor items that fits my daily pretty well. Lol. Sayings like “Relax we’re all crazy, it’s not a competition” and “I shook the tree and a bunch of nuts fell out” and “our home is full of nuts” lol. Everything is reasonably priced. Before we could even finish looking at everything they already had our order ready.

I do love Cracker Barrel so much but I think the employees are much friendlier and the food is better at the Benbrook location. The fire was going but there was only one log burning so it was still cold. The food was good though.
