I’ve always loved Cracker Barrel, but just last week I went to a breakfast meeting there. They have changed their menus, and while many of the things that they had previously are still there, everything is significantly more expensive.
Their food is great, I love the atmosphere, service was good. It’s just been a staple in our family for so long, my grandparents used to eat off the kids menu actually (it always said kids of all ages). It was a nice place to be able to go out to eat, not spend a lot, and have fun toys on the table etc.
So just to give you an idea, I had the hash brown casserole and bacon breakfast with coffee. I ended up spending a little over $21 on just those two items. That’s not even close to the prices that they used to have.

I had the country fried steak & sweet tea. The waitress was super sweet and checked in on us often. The guy that came to ask how our food was I didn’t get his name but he was RAD! He was so friendly & spoke to us about our thoughts on the food & chatted a bit. The food was soooo good! The country fried steak was cooked to perfection and not like some places that are chewy or hard to cut. The flavor was perfect! We also bought some things from their store. Everyone was so nice and definitely will be back again! Clean & great ambiance & warmth by the fire. It was cold and rainy.

We were given a table quickly, but our server took almost 10 minutes to take our drink order. Then the service was good, my husband got an early special dinner, but was charged full price. The server went back to fix it, but then came out and said it couldn’t be change because we arrived after 6. The receipt showed our order was taken at 5:55. She ball faced lied to us. The manager took it off for us. Everything else was great. The restaurant was clean and everyone else was great.

We had a party of six people for lunch and our server was excellent, she was one of the best servers we’ve had in a very long time. We enjoyed the new items they added to their menu, the shepherd’s pie and a few other things. We still hate their chairs they’re very uncomfortable, but overall it was a nice meal.

Haven’t been in a long time. The 1st thing I want to mention is the excellent server! Very cordial and our drinks never went empty. Lucas I believe was his name at the Norman Oklahoma location. Food was very good, the Shepherds pie I ordered definitely impressed, so kudos to the kitchen staff as well. I found it to be great quality and value for the money. Thank you!

The meatloaf was pretty good as were the mashed potatoes and the broccoli. Service was a little slow, but I was also with a fairly large group which slowed things down.
The decor has certainly changed from the crowded walls full of things from the past. There was still some decor, but it is no longer cluttered on all the walls.
We had no wait time because we had called ahead.

The staff was very friendly and hard working getting my food to me fast and fresh, but the restaurant was very busy so it was a 25 minute wait to be seated. And the noise level in the restaurant was louder than usual, the food was prepared properly and was delicious. The decor was unique to this Cracker Barrel location also the tables and floors were clean, all in all a good place for a decent meal.

I was disappointed. I haven’t been to cracker Barrel in a long time but I more than likely won’t choose to eat there with my family. The kids ordered breakfast, I ordered the meat loaf and baked potato. The kids pancakes were good but sausage wasn’t cooked all the way. They did kindly cook it longer. 2 of our baked potatoes weren’t fully cooked and still hard. My meatloaf was very good and our waitress was great as well. Sadly, this won’t be on our stop from now on unless just go in to shop. We love the store and the staff are friendly.
