The worst Cracker Barrel experience ever besides the pancakes and lemonade. First of all, we waited about 10 minutes before we got seated and then another 10 minutes before the waitress came to take our drink order. She said she was trying to find out what they were out of yet she took the lady order that came in behind us. But she still could’ve came to take our drink order at least. The food came out quick but my hash brown casserole was cold, dry and did not taste good. I never liked their sausage Pattie’s and my husband ham had a terrible smell to it. Also, the grits were too thick. The restroom had no paper towels and the restaurant looked dirty for a Monday, not packed and employees just standing around. The manager (I guess he was the manager) saw I did not like my hash brown casserole and brought me some regular hash browns with cheese that was burnt. Please note this is the same thing I’ve ordered from Cracker Barrel’s in the past but I’ve never been this disappointed. At least the pancakes, bacon and eggs were delicious.

The food was great! Service was very SLOW. Host took about 10 minutes to discover us waiting. Server took another 10 minutes to greet us. Cashier couldn’t take cash because she had no change and couldn’t get help from management for several calls. After about 15 minutes another guest helped with change so we could pay.

Our host was fine, we were sat right away with a party of 6. Our server, Madison, was exceptional, attentive, and kind. However, I noticed a hair that was cooked into my chicken. Not on top of it; inside of it. It was a completely different color and texture of hair of this girls hair. Then as I looked into my fruit, a blueberry was fuzzy with mold. When we informed our sever she said she would take care of it immediately and got her manager right away. We were told the meal would be coming out of her paycheck. But as someone who has worked at a Cracker Barrel before, I know that these things would be the cook and managers fault. It should’ve be a comped meal. We told her manager to not charge her for the meal as it was not her fault in the slightest. A cook walked out with no hairnet or anything over his head not long after. When the manager came by she looked like she didn’t believe a word we said about what was in our food. I hope the server was not charged. Managers need to do better. Thank you Madison for taking care of us.

A little miscommunication with staff. I got up to walk over to windows where my car was parked. 5 seconds to disengage alarm system. My brother was getting tools he need for a job we were on. I returned to my table that had completely be busted lol. By the manager of all people, cute too. She immediately reordered my order but I told her just two scrambled eggs and a pancake. It came out quickly too. Dang good job!

Oh my this store / restaurant was all that. It reminded me of a restaurant from back in the day. Ole school. The store in there has clothes old school candies and soda pops it took my back to the old days. They have a lot of cool things in there. the food was fresh seasoned and fresh, not to mention good. Will be going back and the server Alisha B was everything nice informative and nice she had knowledge on the store and restaurant she was very pleasant. She actually talked to us for a minute same great service so far they changed up their menu although they sell drinks I wish the had a larger alcohol variety

We stop at Cracker Barrel’s when traveling some….food is okay…..I think it has declined from what it use to be. We don’t stop near as often as we might simply due to the chairs….I know that sounds crazy….but people with back issues their chairs are awful ….and when you are looking to get out of the car for abit….really need a comfortable place to sit while you have lunch…..so upgrade your seating…and refresh your menu!!
