It was the first time I’d ever tried a Cracker Barrel while travelling around the US. After taking some time looking around Coronado Heights Castle, I was looking for somewhere good to eat and thought I’d give here a go. First impressions were good, with plenty of seating/rocking chairs outside, if you’re waiting for a table or just want to take the weight off your feet for a short while. For saying it was a Sunday, I didn’t have to wait at all to be seated by the pleasant restaurant staff. Loved the interior and the decor, the various things on the wall. Had those genuine country vibes going on. Lisa, my server, was fabulous! She was SUPER friendly and pleasant from beginning to end, asking me about where I was from and my trip, making really polite conversation and taking a genuine interest. I decided on the meatloaf, with sides of mac ‘n’ cheese, mashed potato and steamed broccoli (also got a freshly made biscuit with apple butter… The BEST!!) The portion size was great and the meatloaf was really tasty (impressed with how good it was!) Lisa asked periodically how everything was and checked to see if I was okay, sorting me out another soda once mine had almost gone. And the most impressive thing, was the price!! I can’t believe what good value it was, for all that I had. Certainly hit the spot very nicely, and I cannot thank Lisa enough for her warm hospitality and brilliant customer service! If you’re in the area and looking for somewhere to eat, this is the place to go!!!

Cracker Barrel at this location was nice, and we were seated pretty quickly. The food itself was great—no complaints there. However, the service could use some improvement. Our waitress took our order and we didn’t see her again until we were finished eating. I needed a refill, but she never checked back on us. The place wasn’t busy at the time, so that part was disappointing.

Overall, good food but the service needs attention.

Absolutely atrocious. We saw the waiter maybe two times the entire meal. But the food was where the real one star becomes deserving…

Every piece of our meal tasted freezer burnt and microwaved. I’ve had cheap frozen TV dinners that tasted twice as good as these. That’s unacceptable. The fries were uneatable, the biscuits tasted like taking a bite directly out of raw dough, the ham was so dry I couldn’t even fully swallow it without a drink, the Mac and cheese was clumped together and cold in the center, and the taste of the chicken and dumplings had a foul sour taste that made me take three bites and give up.

We were so excited to stop in after a full day on the road traveling. But we couldn’t have been more excited to be leaving by the end of it all. Won’t be back. Ever.

We had such a wonderful experience there last night. The staff was so friendly and our food was absolutely delicious. I love how cozy and family friendly the restaurant is. The little store inside had incredible staff as well and informed me about deals and sales going on. Definitely will be returning and we live well over an hour away.

Our family of nine enjoyed a great dinner at this location last night. Alicia was a great server and super friendly.

We met James, the manager, who was also very personable. We were glad we got to express our gratitude for their welcoming spirit and hospitality towards travelers in motor homes. Their designated RV spaces were perfectly located behind the building.

We would definitely dine there again.

Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places. The old timey feel of the place just makes me dream of simpler times. The store is full of items just like a big gift store, from music CDs to Vinyl to novelty drinks and other toys that make me feel like a big kid. And the restaurant is very good. My favorite desert item is their Cherry Coke Cake. Is a good place if you feel like getting breakfast for lunch or dinner. The staff was lovely except for the server who was with me. An older lady who I’m guessing was having a bad day, but I got the vibe that she didn’t want to be there. And it was another lady who actually delivered the food, she kind of showed up and laid the plates on the table then kind of walked away without a word. So there were at least two servers who were less than kind. But the host was lovely, so friendly. And the food was great as always!

The new menu has become much smaller. Less choices and difficult to find the Breakfast items. We did however have a fantastic waitress.

Oh my goodness, the food was absolutely delicious! I had the pot roast, which was excellent and tasted like it was made at home. The mashed potatoes were so yummy and didn’t taste like they came from a box mix. Everything from those who greeted us to serving us was amazing! We’ll be coming back for sure. Thank you for a great experience!

We read on a Google post that Cracker Barrel had the best catfish in the Wichita area. We ordered the fish and it was good, however, the sides i ordered were disappointing. Okra sat too long under the heat lamp and was tough and barely editable. Mac and cheese was fair. I will not return to eat at the restaurant. BUT, I will return to CB to explore the gift shop. Their Christmas novelties were outstanding and beautiful.

Delicious food, hot and fresh. Good variety, service was kind of slow and waitress acted like she didn’t want to be there but food was great.
