I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in a long time. I don’t imagine I will return any time soon based on this visit.
I remember that portions used to be huge and everything tasted fresh. I remember huge biscuits with apple butter.
While the eggs were prepared ok (I asked for an extra egg so that gave a decent portion), the grilled chicken was basically frozen chicken cooked in a pan with I suspect garlic butter and salt. The potato casserole was a small portion and tasted like it was probably reheated from the day before.
This was not what I was hoping for nor what it was what I remembered from Cracker Barrel visits of the past.

I ordered a breakfast using doordash. Upon delivery, I came across mold on the pancakes. I immediately called Cracker Barrel to let them know of the issue so that they check their kitchen and was met with a really negative attitude from Shawn over the phone. He told me “how can you have moldy pancakes if they are freshly made every morning?”
I was not worried about refund or anything at the time, I simply wanted to inform of the issue as it is a health concern.
He told me I needed to “go get a refund from doordash (which i did) and that he can’t do anything else.”
While the food was a big issue, it’s the lack of accountability and rudeness that takes the cake for me. I will not visit or recommend this establishment in the future.

Great server! Great food! CB’s dumplings taste just like my Great-grandmothers….fried okra and of course the hashbrown casserole…always a good choice! I tried their Pink Lemonade Spritz and it was very light and refreshing.

I was pretty disappointed because I am a big Cracker Barrel fan. The server was nice but the food was slow in coming out. When it did come out, it was not hot at all. My wife had ordered eggs over medium and they came out extremely runny and cool. Mine also was not hot.

Went there for breakfast over the weekend, the food was just okay, the hash brown casserole and chicken were the best things on my plate. The waitress on the other hand, not okay. She was not to keen on who were couples and who weren’t I guess? She was constantly coming back to our table striking conversation with MY boyfriend and asking what his plans were for the day and saying how she’s free because it’s “her Friday”. Well fast forward to the end and she is trying to hand him the receipt but thankfully his mom was paying. And funny enough on the back of that receipt there’s a hand scribbled little note. Like super unprofessional and just plain childish really. Zero plans to come back to this location

The steak was a lot cheaper than the local steak houses and it was really good paired with the grilled shrimp! Only thing I didn’t like was the juices made my fried okra soggy. Next time I’ll request my okra be on the side!

Our family use to eat at Cracker Barrel a lot but the last night will be our last time. We went there last night for celebrating my beautiful wife’s Birthday & we’re a family of 5 I got fried chicken it was delicious my wife got chicken and dumplings and my oldest daughter got some type of chicken and rice, my son got pancakes and my youngest daughter got chicken and dumplings like her Momma. Within hours both my wife and daughter were sick all night and my daughter is still sick I m guessing food poisoning it usually starts not long after you eat. My wife was sick as well but refused to miss work today but still I’ll. We had this happen to us last year and we reported it to the manager he offered us our money back which we declined and just asked for them to do better. After this we will be going to somewhere else why pay $80 for a meal that is going to make you sick. There is plenty of other places in St Robert that this thing doesn’t happen.

Country fried steak was good. Hubby’s scrambled eggs & hash brown casserole were not hot. I had pancakes which were warm & crispy; over easy eggs were warm. I suspect the rest of the meal got cold while they made the pancakes. Service was excellent!!
