Stay away from this place. Service is awful, we waited an hour to be seated, then we get cold food that was inedible. The butter never melted on the pancakes or French toast. Kudos to the manager for a profound apology. We won’t return.

One of my favorite stops for breakfast bar none. I’d put this location up against anyone. Food and service are top notch. The server today was super friendly and professionally. Told us some awesome stories about her military dad (yes I served proudly). It was just a fabulous visit to one of my favorite spots!

We stopped here for lunch on Sunday. We were able to look at the menu for a few minutes before our server arrived to get our drink order. We placed our order as soon as she arrived. I ordered the country fried chicken ( might have been called the chicken fried chicken) mashed potatoes and turnip greens. My buddy ordered country fried steak, French fries and green beans. My chicken was moist and delicious and it was 2 huge pieces of breast meat, mashed potatoes were homemade (the lumps gave that away) they were really good and the greens weren’t bad but could of used a splash of vinegar and more salt. Our buddy said the steak was good as were the fries, he said the green beans were “alright”. I like the food here….next time I am trying the okra!!

So I haven’t eaten at a Cracker Barrel in close to 20 years and to say I was impressed would be an understatement of my experience. Max was our hostess and was extremely friendly and pleasant. Chloe was our server and was very nice, helpful, and friendly. Now the food… it was great. Chicken and dumplings were on point and that new chicken with cheese and bacon was awesome! Oh and they have fried okra too! So very impressed and the price was so good!

Excellent breakfast food, a surprise for a chain like this. I love their pancakes, especially the blueberry or pecan which is served with warm syrup and butter. The blueberry compote syrup is delicious. I also like the new stuffed pancakes with strawberries, a seasonal special.Come hungry, because it’s a lot of food! Breakfast items are offered all day.

Attempted to order on the Cracker Barrel app, but then found out there was no place to enter my gift card. I then went into the restaurant, and no one was at the hostess stand, so I went into the restaurant and talked to someone who worked there about ordering food to go. She told me that she could not take my order, but to go out into the store area. I then waited another 8 to 10 minutes and then asked someone at the hostess stand again about placing a to-go order. She said, “the guy in the blue shirt over at the cash registers in the store area could take the order.” I then placed my order with him, which took at least 6 to 8 minutes as he was having difficulty entering it into the computer and then made multiple mistakes with the order. Once it was correct, he told me it would be about a 25-minute wait for my food. I waited another 35 minutes and then went up to the hostess stand to inquire as to how much longer it would take. The hostess checked on the food and said that it would be at least another 35 minutes to 1 hour before my food would be ready. I informed her that I could not wait that much longer, and I asked to have a refund. The original order was for 93 cents on a gift card, and the remaining $25 was on my credit card. She said that a manager would have to refund my money. After waiting another 10 to 15 minutes, a manager appeared and had me go over to the cash registers with him. He had trouble operating the cash register, which took at least another 7 – 8 minutes and then said that he could not return any of the money to my credit card, but that it could only go on to a Cracker Barrel gift card. Cracker Barrel is now the last place I would possibly ever want to use a gift card!

So the food was hot but I was disappointed that the staff told us our gift card was only good for the homestyle chicken dinner and later I read it was just a 50 dollar giftcard good for any food. We wanted different things and the chicken was just so so. Hot but I believe I would have enjoyed the other food more. Our server was on top of her job so that was a plus. One of the better Cracker Barrel we’ve been to in recent months. Still super annoying to be told we had to order a specific meal when we definitely di not. The gift card was a digital gift card.
