My daughter and I have celiac disease and the staff was not willing to accommodate or help us. We couldn’t eat anything there, all because they said, “they were too busy and couldn’t clean the grill” then the waitress said to us, “I’m sorry we’re just ghetto around here” They were rude and were not willing to help us, so we could eat there, but we couldn’t. Then at the end of our service the waitress said, “I’m sorry about that our cooks are just lazy”, so if you have any kind of food allergy they aren’t willing to be helpful whatsoever. The one thing I could eat there, I asked them to take precautions when handling it. I don’t think they took it seriously, because I had an allergic reaction once we got home. Do not recommend!

Was enjoying our breakfast & my husband who has these medical spells. I wanted to Thank Amanda our waitress for her help. She went beyond her job to help. The basics that made Cracker Barrel stand out decades ago have disappeared. No jelly..no honey..no plate for bread (like we’re eating it on the table top?)
Cornbread was burnt (no kidding) and thin…biscuits were hard. If the cook can’t see its unacceptable to present, the server should have picked up on it. Unbelievable and sad.
Tossing the bill on the table (no inquiry about dessert) and removing your plate while your still eating…again, unacceptable. I stared in disbelief.
Big hurry to run in back and continue the chat with your coworker.
My meal was good, plentiful and hot. My wifes hamburger steak was undercooked, taken to be cooked more and returned in two pieces. They did give her fresh/hot hashbrown casserole to replace the cold lump originally received.
Drinks were kept filled and the fireplace was kept filled..some positives to cheer for.
The $46 spent for 2 adults and a child with these issues would do us better elsewhere.
In fairness, this was our 3rd dining experience in 8 weeks so we have afforded the Sheffield restaurant room for “having had a bad day”. The prior visits had the same sort of issues.
Simple fixes need made to return you to what you once stood for..quality, friendly staff and a core integrity in product presentation.

We had a great server but the food was not good. We ate some of it only because we were traveling and starving but not good. The hashbrowns were cold and weird mush type pile. The sausage was smoked and so strong we didn’t like it. The pancakes were like they just threw some batter down and didn’t care what it looked like. Syrup was the best thing we had unfortunately. Didn’t take any pictures because it wasn’t worth looking at it again. Staff was nice though. We always have fun looking through the store.

We did two family meals to go, it was ok. Barley had any eggs, the French toast was ehh I didn’t eat the pancakes but the kids loved those. Bacon was good, hash brown were kinda burnt to the pan but were good other then that.

Everything was great except the host stand was abandoned when we arrived, causing an unnecessary 20 minute backlog of maybe a dozen people, and a logjam of nearly that many going the other way trying to check out.

5 of us decided on a New Years Eve dinner at the restaurant. The weather was snowy, people were out. We were surprised to find only 5 cars in the parking lot when we arrived. That was strange, but then again it was New Year’s Eve.
Our server was great, the food was exceptional as always. This was our first time back since all the talk about reorganizing the restaurant. We are pleased to say, we are happy with the old traditional restaurant. There’s something about walking into a Cracker Barrel and instantly feeling cozy and inviting with great food. If the restaurant would’ve gone ahead with the renovations, we probably would not have gone back. Like they say, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it!

The food was unbelievably terrible. The service was ok not too bad but not the best and the place is decorated very nice it gives me cabin vibes. Has a beautiful lit fireplace you can sit by. However the food was awful. My hubby got a hamburger and fries and he litterly got like 10 frys I asked the server who ate the rest lol.
