First time at cracker barrel . The fried chicken was delicious, turnip greens were ok , loaded sweet potato wasn’t good to me only because it wasnt what I had the taste for. Had a bloody Mary which was good not the best I’ve had but not the worse . The waitress was either new or just very timid which made our wait for our food longer and I didn’t get my corn muffins until I reminded her in the midst of being ready to go. Portions on the chicken were huge supposed to get 4 pieces ,I asked if I could substitute the leg for another wing but wasn’t able to do I told her I’ll just take 3 pieces. Overall will eat here again for the chicken and probally not this specific one due to just passing thru.

We eat almost every Wed there to have my favorite Cheddar broccoli chicken. Mine was really good tho portions ate smaller. My husband got the meatloaf lunch and can honestly say I’ve never seen a smaller portion! It was about 3 bites. So thin it wasn’t even a slice. I know it’s lunch portion but it was crazy small. And the lunch is now 8.99 not like when it was 5.99. I would’ve been embarrassed to serve that.

This place does have nice decor, and some pretty cool stuff at their little general store, but the numerous times I’ve been here, their food was absolutely horrible. I let my family eat here if they want, I wait until they are done and go somewhere else when we leave. A couple of times, the food was cold, and on most days it is hard to get a refill of coffee or pop. The fireplace in the winter time is a nice touch, so maybe if I ever decide to try to eat here again, they’ll let me make my own food over it.

Love Cracker Barrel! Food was great, gotta always get something in their gift shop. Old fashioned candy is the best! Usually have cool and unique clothing pieces as well! Got this sweater there and a beautiful white shawl!
