First time at cracker barrel . The fried chicken was delicious, turnip greens were ok , loaded sweet potato wasn’t good to me only because it wasnt what I had the taste for. Had a bloody Mary which was good not the best I’ve had but not the worse . The waitress was either new or just very timid which made our wait for our food longer and I didn’t get my corn muffins until I reminded her in the midst of being ready to go. Portions on the chicken were huge supposed to get 4 pieces ,I asked if I could substitute the leg for another wing but wasn’t able to do I told her I’ll just take 3 pieces. Overall will eat here again for the chicken and probally not this specific one due to just passing thru.

It’s a shame that the prices are going up, that’s happening for everybody. It was a Friday when we were there, and got the fish deal. It was great for pieces of fish with a side of french fries and mac and cheese perfect!

We eat here quite a bit but this time I felt so rushed like the waitress was trying to get me out the door. I’m not sure why because the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. My daughter and I were just trying to enjoy a nice dinner out. I just asked for the check and left much earlier than I would’ve liked to.

Our visit was for lunch… Arrived shortly after 11am.. food was terrible.. mashed potatoes were old, as if they were from the previous day.. chicken fried chicken was cold..our server.. needs to stay home and watch tv.. surely doesn’t belong serving customers. It’s a shame, always enjoyed Cracker Barrel. Prices are $15.99 for lunch, I expect a good meal, with good service.. would have been better off stopping at a place and get two hotdogs

Waitress was courteous, helpful, and respectful. She received a good tip for her work. My issues were with the dish I ordered. Steak was black and harder than the sole of my shoes, evidently overcooked (I asked for it to be cooked medium). Also, as you can see in the picture below, the steak was swimming in excess water from the corn and carrots placed on same dish. “Side dish” means a helping served in a “dish on the side”, and not a watery serving plopped, on same plate as the main dish, the charred steak!
Update: after complaining to their corporate office, they had the gall to send me via email a coupon for complimentary desert. NO THANK YOU! Needless to say, I sent it back!

What a difference a restaurant makes! I went to a Cracker Barrel yesterday for lunch, and in one photo, you will see a picture of a very small tender that my server Elizabeth that piece counted as a whole tender. Now, in the other photo, you will what size tenders are served here at the St. Clairsville, OH store. Miranda C was my server and I would classify her as a Super Server. She was very cordial and an exceptionally great server. Great Service Miranda C.
