Stopped by CB in Berea for breakfast. Very few patrons in restaurant while we were there around 10:30 am. I tried the NEW Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes for the first time. Flavor of Pancakes was good. Pancakes were VERY tough and chewy..Chewy… like they had been microwaved. I asked server if they use a different batter for these Pancakes. NO, same batter. She said maybe they HAD microwaved them.

Nice place to bring your family. Right off of the highway for a quick stop while traveling . Very clean restaurant with friendly staff. The general store has a lot of cute items that are moderately priced. Check the corner sections for clearance items! Good was good! I tried the pot pie and it was hot and delicious just like my mommas home cooking!

Service was nice and prompt, but the food was horrible. I found a hair in my chicken and dumplings, and my mom’s “medium” steak was practically jerky. Our server noticed it was overcooked and brought a replacement before we asked for one, so that was nice, but the replacement was cooked rare and left a lake of blood in the plate. By the way the steaks were cooked and the fact that everyone’s plates were scorching hot despite our food being lukewarm, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just cooked everything in the microwave.
