We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Cracker Barrel hosting our large party of 26, and I cannot say enough about the level of service we received.
From the moment we arrived, the team handled our group with professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness. Managing a party that size is no small task, yet everything flowed seamlessly — drinks were refilled, orders were accurate, food came out hot, and no one ever felt overlooked.
What impressed me most was the attitude. The staff never seemed overwhelmed or frustrated. Instead, they were attentive, upbeat, and truly made us feel welcome. It’s rare to find a restaurant that can execute both efficiency and hospitality so beautifully.
Our entire group left full, happy, and talking about how smooth the experience was. Thank you to the management and team for going above and beyond — you turned what could have been chaotic into something effortless and enjoyable.
We will absolutely be back.

I have been to this place probably 100+ times over the last 20 years, but today I was seeing it differently. I somehow stopped coming, but why? It has been several years, even though I only live 10 minutes away. This morning I watched an interview with the CEO on their challenges, strengths and weaknesses. They reduced the menu, added alcohol and were recovering from that logo disaster. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about that, but people sure were upset. As I watched, the memories of that fire, taste of that sausage and homemade biscuits started teasing me. It was time for breakfast, so I decided why not? It’s a Wednesday morning so no wait. The fire is going and the breakfast smells are amazing. The tables seem much less cluttered? The shakers are precisely placed at every one as if on a template. This is attention to details. Service is fast and friendly, with coffee constantly filled and offers of a cup to go. The menu is now only one page, front and back, breakfast on front, dinner on back, that’s it. I looked at dinner options for the future, and they do offer several healthier options such as grilled chicken. Seems much more efficient to me.
I opt for the Old Timers, which thankfully made the menu cut. My scrambled eggs with added cheese were hot, my grits much creamier than I remember, and biscuits even fluffier. My sausage patties were a little dry, but still tasty. Overall, the food quality is much better than I remember. I love being able to pay my check with my phone from the table and avoiding those checkout lines.
If you haven’t been here in a while, try it again and look at the things I mentioned. See if you agree. I’m adding it back to my list. No TV

This place served an absolutely amazing breakfast today! I had the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes with Bacon and Over-Medium Eggs and it was cooked and presented perfectly. Especially proud of the accuracy of the Over-Medium. My server was fast and friendly and there was very little wait time. Also, it’s great that these locations allow overnight parking and are open early, early in the morning.

This is the BEST Cracker Barrel in the Nashville area! I had dinner here on Thanksgiving and was dining alone. I was seated in less than 10 minutes and my food arrived quickly. It was delicious as always. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the managers – Denise. She was engaging, attentive, and efficient in resolving an issue with my order. She made sure I was satisfied and checked on me twice. Denise is an example of true customer service, and she is a great asset to this location.
Thank you.

Alia was amazing and so sweet and patient with my incredibly condescending father-in-law and my hangry, short-tempered husband. (He was the one who was demanding you tell your manager to ask the customer in the parking lot to turn off their headlights .) The chicken was overcooked but they were so rude and as a bartender I was dying of embarrassment. Alia, if you ever see this please know you’re very good and I’m sorry they put you through that. I left you extra cash on the table and I hope we didn’t stress you out too bad.

Logistically fabulous. We pre-ordered online (This was for Thanksgiving). Drive up and a young lady ran out to the car, asked our name and brought our food. We were driving back out in less than two minutes.

My chicken and dumplings weren’t as good as I remembered. Kinda gloppy and not super flavorful. The sides were great. My brother liked his turkey plate. So I had food envy .

This was a great option for us as we were traveling for the holiday and had to eat in the hotel lobby. This worked better than anything else we could think of.

This was a great place to stop and sit down on her way home from vacation because we always know what the food is going to be like. The atmosphere is comfortable makes you feel like you’re at home and the service is wonderful. However, I think in the last several years across the country , cracker barrels , food has been going down in quality. They’ve changed recipes or the way they prepare them or something. It’s not as good as it was.

When I order a 10oz steak, I expect for there to be some marbling, but I don’t expect about 15% of the steak to be complete, solid fat. When I was served my steak, the whole bottom portion was total fat. When I pointed this out to the manager, I was told that this is typical for steak… no offer to replace it or discount…just acted like I don’t know what a good steak should look like. I have ordered the same steak at other Cracker Barrels and they did not look like this.

Great place with many food choices. Probably the best breading for fish and chicken that I’ve found. Grilled oprions are great as well but if your looking for something breaded this is the place and it seems light and not greasy. Doesn’t make me regret eating it or weigh me down. Highly recommend for small or large groups.
