Tere was great server for my family. Watch for the biscuit when serve you. Some were hard couldn’t eat them. The scramble eggs was running. I know some people like running eggs bit i like mine cook.On a good note my chicken n French toast was good.

Simply fantastic. From entry to departure. The staff were definitely engaging and courteous. Our waitress Anette was amazing, from her initial hello, followup and closure. The meals, perfect; the grill chicken and roast beef were excellent. Vegetables definitely recommend. Biscuits really good but the cornbread…..hmmmmm. All else perfect.

Hadn’t been to a Cracker Barrel in ages. Tried the country fried steak with mash potatoes and fried okra. Steak had very little white gravy, waitress got me more from the kitchen. Potatoes were okay, but lumpy. Steak portion wasn’t exactly small, but I’ve definitely had larger and for less money. It was a little tough but the gravy softened it up. Fried okra was good, biscuits good too. Overall for the value the meal was mediocre but not bad. At least you could eat it. When you can’t get a decent country fried steak at a Cracker Barrel, you know you’ve got problems. But the service was good.

If I had enough time to complain and send food back I would’ve! The server didn’t seem friendly. The first mistake was them bringing me out chicken tenders when I requested southern fried chicken. The server dropped my first item off at the table so far from me and left (which indicated to me that she was upset the order was wrong). she didn’t ask if I needed anything else she just dropped food off and left. The food was horrible. Everything was cold. The mashed potatoes were very dry and tasted days old. The fries were supposed to be steak fries but they brought out crinkle and they were soaked in grease and soggy. The coleslaw was bland. I hate I wasted my money and lunch break here. The biscuits were not their usual big fluffy biscuits they looked like small muffins. Seems that CRACKER BARREL fell off big time.

Had breakfast outside which was great! We had the standard awesome breakfast scrambled eggs, with Colby cheese, crispy bacon, hash brown casserole, biscuits and gravy with coffee. We had Cheryl wait on us . She was simply a wonderful woman who was celebrating 35 years with Cracker Barrel! She was the absolute perfect waitress in the world!! So kind and humble! A true people person!! Thank you for your wonderful attention in taking care of us!!

The place was beautifully decorated! Christmas trees, ornaments and gift ideas were strategically placed! If you had someone that was hard to buy for, just take a walk through Cracker Barrel. The food, unfortunately, was not as good as I have had at other Cracker Barrels. We stopped for breakfast and my grits were runny and not hot enough to melt butter. I like crispy bacon, but I was served – maybe not under-cooked…- but not done enough for me.

So this is happened at the Cracker Barrel on SW College Ave in Ocala today at around 3pm. Disgusting! 2 guys come in with a labradoodle and after a while, the older one puts the Cracker Barrel plate on the FLOOR with food in it to feed the FRIGGIN’ DOG! When the dog is finished, he puts the plate back on the table and places the utensils in it for the waitress to pick up! The wait staff said NOTHING! I will never eat there AGAIN!
