Only four stars because almost everything in the store is made in china so that cuts the selection to very little.

Brought my Mom here as she was excited to get some good ole fried chicken. Upon ordering they told us there couldn’t be ANY type of substitution. You HAVE to get it the way the menu says. 4 piece being a wing, thigh, breast and drum. Not everyone eats each of those. They absolutely wouldn’t budge and you can’t even simply order A PIECE of chicken. Completely ridiculous. My mother has had several back surgeries and it’s so hard to get her to leave the house. Just ruined the whole evening. She ordered the dumplings….raw. Could literally taste the flour in the center of them. When a manager stopped by to ask how things were, we explained and of course since there was an isssue….she kept on walking.
Shabrina was our waitress, she was awesome! Very apologetic and her service was on point. She made the evening better.

Picked up an entire Christmas meal for my family because my wife just had major surgery. The food was horrible. The beans were not seasoned, the sweet potatoes had no flavor, the dressing was literally green with celery and celery tops. The carrots weren’t flavorful or completely cooked. The gravy had zero flavor, and the rolls were hard. The pecan pie was OK, the ham was OK, the fried apples were OK, but the macaroni and cheese was flavorless (out of the box powered kind would have been better), and the mashed potatoes were decent. The cranberries were fine because they obviously came from a can. Overall, the meal was just downright embarrassing. My family was very ashamed to put this food on the table for our guests to eat. Cracker Barrel should be ashamed of themselves. The meal cost over $500. I don’t know that I would consider eating ant Cracker Barrel again if this is going to be the quality of their food. I will definitely never order a full meal from their restaurant again in hopes of having a Christmas dinner with my family. The only thing great about this meal was the customer service from the young lady that packed and verified our order. She was truly on top of things. I can also say that the Apple strudel pie was quite tasty.

I live about 350 miles from Statesboro, and my Mother lives about 15 miles outside of town. Her car had broken down, and she had no way to go, and I was not going to be able to come down for Thanksgiving. So I called the Statesboro Cracker Barrel to inquire whether there would be any delivery services (Dash, Instacart, etc.) available on Thanksgiving Day to deliver my Mom some dinner. I was put through to management. I was told that no, they were not accepting deliveries for that day due to the high call volume of customers. I thanked them anyway and hung up.
Just a few minutes later, I received a call from the Assistant Manager, Will. He and the Manager Matt had called to tell me that they would like to “personally” drive dinner out to my Mom on Thanksgiving Day!!!! The next morning, as promised, around 10 am, they delivered hot, delicious food to my Mom’s house! I do not have enough words to express how grateful I am to these two guys! It was truly a Holiday Blessing!!! God Bless you both!

Our server was absolutely LOVELY, the restaurant was spotless, and our food was incredible. I had the MOST delish, juice New York Strip Steak with Shrimp and I’m telling you, this steak was BEAUTIFULLY cooked (medium!). I was most impressed!

Giving 3 stars because of the hard rock biscuits. The biscuits here are delicious but I can never catch them when they are soft! I keep giving chance after chance hoping to just catch them soft but now I see i can no longer have their biscuits which saddens me. The beignets though are marvelous and that is what stopped me from giving 1 star.

Ordered the Thanksgiving Heat & Serve Family Dinner with mashed potatoes and Mac & Cheese added. I arrived at the designated time per the email from Cracker Barrel, and the order was not available on the attendant’s tablet. She asked what we ordered, I told her twice and she confirmed incorrectly the first time, but got it right the second time. Asked me to pull over and she would get the order made up in just a few minutes. Indeed, in 5 or 6 minutes ahe came out with the food in a large box and asked if she could put it in the back seat. My mistake, I said yes which meant that I did not check the order. It was missing the mashed potatoes. I called and they asked the name on the order (twice) and said the potatoes could be picked up. My daughter went there and had to wait almost 15-minutes for the potatoes to be brought out. So the call was a waste of time.
Bottom line is that other than the green beans, everything else was superb and tasty. The order system needs some attention or there needs to be more help on busy days such as Thanksgiving. We will order here again and hope the rough edges have been smoothed.

Everything was great. The hostess got us a seat so my wife on crutches didn’t have to walk far. The server Maddison was amazing. She checked on us and treated us like family. First time we had her but we will be back and hope we see her again. The food was great. Will was the manager we spoke with and he was also a great guy. Thank you all for everything.

On this visit, our server was very nice and the food arrived quickly. However, THE MAIN reason for us choosing Cracker Barrel was for the S’mores Brownie Skillet–which they were out of! Next, the pancakes we once enjoyed were NOT good at all!!! The edges were not crispy anymore and they were so thick that the centers of the pancakes were gummy or not cooked thoroughly. After I expressed my unhappiness, our server relayed my concerns to the manager. She apologized for not having the items needed to make the S’mores Skillet, explained that they’ve recently changed product in regards to the pancakes, and gave me a LITTLE off the bill to cover the uneaten pancakes. I’m learning that I’ve got to stop thinking that I’m paying for convenience, because convenience has been very INconvenient lately.

We had stopped going to our local Cracker Barrel because of slow serving time and so-so breakfast. There has definitely been an improvement! The service was great and the food was even better. The pancakes were like they use to be, so fluffy and so good! There were plenty of servers, too! We were glad to see this as there are few choices for a good, sit down breakfast here in the Boro. We’ll be back soon!
