Absolutely amazing restaurant! The food is delicious and tastes truly homemade. The service is outstanding — every customer request is met with care and attention. They even brought me English tea with milk! The meat was perfectly tender, and one of my favorite side dishes was the baked apples with cinnamon — highly recommended! It can get a bit busy on weekends and holidays, but during weekday afternoons it’s calm and quiet.
The building houses a restaurant and a gift shop where you can buy sweets, home accessories, souvenirs, and even clothing—this allows for upselling after-dinner. Excellent marketing! I’m very happy with my experience and definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Really enjoyed this place while on vacation from California. We came here 10/18/25 and it was amazing. The service and food and atmosphere was really nice. This restaurant is centrally located with lots of parking and close to the highway. My chicken fried steak breakfast was yummy and the portions was nice. Server was really nice and kept checking on us. Everyone in my group enjoyed this experience and no complaints. Thanks Cracker Barrel for the awesome hospitality I will definitely be coming back. Lastly these was the BEST biscuits I’ve EVER had. Yummy Yummy!!!

Stopped here to make sure I got at least one last visit, before the company wrecks remaining older locations by giving them that awful makeover. My meal and service were fine. Lack of a table check-in station though makes seating yourself a little confusing. You eat here for the experience, more than the food. My vegetables were fine, but the beans may have been canned. Don’t know.

I enjoy the atmosphere, the coziness that it offers. There was no wait time. Also, they have a area that you can shop in. They have items such as, clothing, cups, mugs, gift cards, a variety of candy and etc. Also toys for younger toddlers starting age 3 and up.

I visited the Cracker Barrel on 1525 E Main St. The food I ordered was good. I had the Grandma’s Sampler, My waitress was satisfying and well-prepared. My waitress was prompt and checked back several times to make sure I didn’t need anything. Overall, it was a pleasant experience..

Nice Meal out. Went to this location a tad later so we felt bad but they were still able to take us. (Well before closing) The host didn’t sit us with cutlery and was not as warm as our amazing server Matt. He turned the whole experience around! Made sure we were taken care of and checked in several times. It has been a long time since we have received such fabulous service.
Management please take note of his amazing attention to detail, service and warmth!

I had an issue with an order a couple of weeks ago and was told that whenever I was back in the area, I could stop in and they would take care of me. Today of all days, during an ice storm I stopped by, and Jermaine and Jenna went absolutely above and beyond to make sure my order was right.
I cannot thank them enough. This was, without question, some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out.
I would definitely recommend this Cracker Barrel location, and especially commend Jermaine and Jenna for their outstanding service.

A huge disappointment. The young lady working the hostess desk was outstanding. She greeted me with a friendly welcome, pointed out the special of the day, and seated me promptly. After that it went down hill fast. I sat there for 10 minutes before a server came. I gave her my entire order and a glass of water. She said I will get your water on out. That took forever. After she brought the water she disappeared completely. I had told her I wanted to start with a salad. Then entree of grilled chicken. Three sides which was green beans, broccoli, and bowl of fruit. I waited another 20 minutes and another server brought me my chicken, broccoli, and green beans. Still no salad. I asked her about it and she tell me what you ordered. I will get it for you. Obviously the first lazy and worthless server never put it on the order. I also said I ordered a fruit bowl and so she went back and ordered that too. To make things worse there was only 6 pieces of broccoli in the bowl. The fruit bowl was only half full. No refills on my water at all. It is obvious to me this store in Duncan has a poor excuse for management and the staff is as bad as they are. The only person in the store is that very young hostess and that young lady has real adult maturity, great work ethic, and awesome people skills. Maybe Cracker Barrel should make her the store manager. I feel like these problems would be taken care of.
Now let me give you the reverse experience. I was in Statesville, NC last weekend and had a stellar experience with everything. Ordered the same meal. That server was all about customer service. No waiting to be acknowledged I was seated. She took the order and the salad was brought out quickly. When the entree and sides came out I had everything and the green beans and broccoli were put on the plate with the chicken and a gracious plenty of both filled my plate. The fruit bowl was completely full.
Statesville, NC store deserves recognition for a job well done.
Duncan management spend a week in Statesville and learn how to be a manager and learn how to operate a successful restaurant and have caring staff.
I would appreciate an opportunity to share tonight’s disaster with someone in corporate but unfortunately those days are over. You no longer have a phone number provided to call any talk to a live human being. It’s obvious that’s by design. They don’t care just like they didn’t care when they started making radical changes last year. Goodbye Duncan! You lost a customer.

Hello everyone, I must say the hostess was rude. He sit us in the back with the sun shining bright, and I had to ask him to put us at another table. He did not speak to us.The waitress was wonderful (Respect). She was nice, friendly, and most of all she cared for her customers.
The cashier was nice and respectful. I had paid for my food, and was waiting on my family member. I looked around and there were a few ladies that worked I’m guessing waitresses or whatever looking at me like I want to steal. Honey we work and don’t want anything. We paid and if I want to look at everything in the store we can. Go take some of that makeup off and the ones that you think will not steal are stealing from y’all.
I was mad and passed off at the same time. Everyone don’t steal. If a person was having a bad day y’all made them feel horrible.
Overall everything else was greatly appreciated and yes turnip greens was good.

Many of these restaurants are top notch, with friendly staff and excellent food. I sat down expecting nothing different, but this particular spot had extremely quick service and the food somehow also came out piping hot and fresh.
I had a bit of an issue with a desert, and it was quickly rectified by a kind and professional female manager (sorry I don’t remember your name! Left at 2:10p).
Grateful for the consistency in quality and service with this chain, perfectly exemplified at this location.
