First of all the gift shop have gorgeous Christmas decor. The food was great. Our server was amazing. He even complimented my jacket. He have long black hair. The only thing the corn bread was very hard and dry. Not sure if supposed to be like that. I like my cornbread with a bit of sweetness this one weren’t at all. Overall great experience.

Stopped in for breakfast on the Saturday we didn’t get snow. They were not too busy. Food and service was great. Strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes were so good.

Husband prefers IHOP when it comes to bfast but since we hadn’t eaten here in a few years and we had to go to Sam’s Club, we decided to give it a go.

Food was okay. The hash brown casserole(normally my favorite item) was mushy and bland. I am wondering if it was old or just overcooked. It was unpleasant to eat.

Service was meh. Anytime I asked her a question(e.g. is the $5 take away meal deal valid to order at any time of the day) she had to go check then would come back and answer. In this case, she came back and told us “yes, we could order” then promptly turned on her heels and walked away. Both my husband and I immediately busted out laughing cause it was so ridiculous, unexpected, and fast. She didn’t even take a breath after answering before she walked off. Idk if she was new but she seemed to struggle a bit with the easy stuff.

$36 for 2 meals, 2 waters, and a $5 meal deal…not including a tip. Kind of sad but at least we know what to expect should one of try to talk the other into coming back.

I have been a longtime customer of Cracker Barrel and have always appreciated the brand’s consistency, comfort-food classics, and welcoming atmosphere. However, over recent visits, I’ve noticed a decline in food quality that has been disappointing.

I want to be clear that this does not reflect the individual store location, management, or staff. The employees have consistently been kind and attentive, and the atmosphere remains warm and inviting. My concerns feel more aligned with changes happening higher within the corporate structure.

While the service and ambiance still reflect the traditional charm the restaurant is known for, the overall execution of the meals no longer feels up to the standard many loyal customers have come to expect. The flavors seem less rich, portion consistency has varied, and some dishes appear to prioritize cost-efficiency over the homemade quality that once set Cracker Barrel apart.

It’s understandable that leadership changes can bring operational adjustments, but maintaining food quality should remain a top priority—especially for a brand built on nostalgia and comfort. I hope corporate leadership takes customer feedback seriously and works to restore the level of quality that made Cracker Barrel a staple for so many families.

first time coming to this location and the overall experience was good. staff was friendly but they were extremely busy so it took a minute to get food.

i got the country boy breakfast and it was average. the steak was overcooked but i expected it to be. scrambled eggs and hash brown casserole were okay as well.

the highlight was the fresh biscuits that came. they were hot out of the oven.

i’d come back again in the future.

My children and i are huge fans of Cracker Barrel. We were happy to go for brunch yesterday and I was less than enthused. We were sat immediately, always good! Our server, a lovely Jamaican lady was an good server and very personable. The atmosphere was comfortable. The food took an unusually long time for a restaurant that had mostly empty tables. The biscuits came out and were overly brown, dark brown and slightly hard and dry. I’ve had perfect biscuits that were warm and soft here many times. I didn’t ask for more because I knew they’d all be the same, so we just made due. When our food came out my son’s breakfast looked yummy, my food was delicious but my daughters grilled cheese was grilled black. My daughter ate it but I was disappointed that the food was brought to the table like that. Having worked in food service for years, i would have asked for a remake on the fly and not brought it out. No, again i said nothing since our wait had already been ridiculous. I chummed it up to being understaffed and carried on. I didn’t want to add to whatever issues they seemed to be having. We carried on. The only other thing that I didn’t care for in an almost empty restaurant was the fact that after we ate our food, the children and myself were looking around the gift shop and I was looking around towards the front at the Valentine’s Day items. There wasn’t anyone standing in line to check out and the lady at the register called out to me asking me are you ready yet or are you still looking? as I was literally looking when she called across the store to me. I thought it rude. After all if I was ready I would have approached the register. It wasn’t the best experience and tarnished our experience.

The food is good. I usually get 2 syrups if I dine in. I only got one fir my to go order. The big African American lady with the bun to the back. She was nasty and rude. She threw my food on the counter and said bye. That’s not how you treat your customers! I will not be coming back for awhile. Until she is gone. She gave a nasty tsste in ny mouth in front of all those customers.

This was our first time at this location. We signed up for the wait list on the app. We were greeted warmly, when it was time for us to be seated. Our server, Paige, was extremely nice, friendly, and informative. She advised that they were short-staffed today and to please be patient with them.
We decided to try a few different items off of the menu. We ordered the southern barbecue ribs with loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese with bacon, The chicken fried steak with steamed broccoli and fried okra, the chicken tender meal with mac and cheese and french fries. The fried catfish plate with a double order of dumplings.
We requested the biscuits and cornbread muffins. For dessert, we ordered the double chocolate Coca-Cola cake and the chocolate pecan pie both with vanilla ice cream.
The sugar plum tea is absolutely amazing. She confirmed for us that this is only here during the holidays.. this tea is absolutely delicious I would highly recommend trying it. The food was all brought out piping hot and absolutely delicious. The southern barbecue ribs were fork tender, seasoned well and very very delicious. The catfish was served piping hot with the side of dumplings. It was delicious and the only thing that was missing was the hot sauce.
The country fried steak was cooked very well and well-seasoned and the gravy was good. The chicken tender meal with fries and the mac and cheese we’re good. However, my daughter stated that it need a little bit more seasoning on the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese with bacon is very good. However, it needed a little salt and pepper as well.
By this time, we were all getting full and we decided to take the dessert with us. We did try it at the table, the double chocolate Coca-Cola cake is absolutely delicious, extremely moist and the hot fudge chocolate hot and melty on the top. I highly recommend that you try this cake. The chocolate pecan pie is very good as well and it was a hit.
I would highly recommend coming here. I know that we will be back to try more items on the menu. Thank you, Paige, for making our lunch the best.
