Friendly professional associates. Great tasty food. I had a couple of biscuits with their fantastic apple butter and a bowl of grits! Filling and delicious. I had a need of an outlet to use Nebulizer for breathing treatments. Very accommodating and ready to give you what you need. No questions or pressures. Thank you! Amanda the server was especially good and prompt at seeing if I needed anything.

Our waitress and hostess were very nice but service was slow. The first biscuit they brought were hockey pucks, I’ve NEVER had bad biscuits here. Parts of our meals were not warm, the sweet potato casserole and the hashbrown casserole.

literally AMAZING. while i was here this staff member named Patty gave my mom aspirin because my moms shoulder hurt and gave us mini jesus keychains honestly i recommend going here. the staff here are also very sweet. and here’s a picture of my mini jesus

Went here Friday night, it wasn’t busy which we were excited about. We looked around at the store area and went to get seated. The dinning area was almost empty so you’d think we would get some service shortly after being sat. We were wrong, sat there for a good minute without being acknowledged as our server serviced the table next to us 3 different times. Mind you the other table was in arms reach. After some time of being ignored by the staff my husband and I decided to leave. Went to Waffle House where we got greeted and treated very good.

I will have to say that Emma’s service was really great. Being new, she done an excellent job and exemplifies Cracker Barrel’s commitment to their guests. Highly recommended this location. Great experience all the way through even the last goodbye as we went out the door.

We had a great time. My kids said it was cozy and they ate quite a healthy portion of food. They really enjoyed it. Everything was good and I hope to go back soon. We bought some nostalgic candy in the shop; that was a nice extra treat. I do want to say that our waitress was new to the job and putting in effort and working really hard to learn the job. She brought us everything we asked for and interacted politely with myself and my kids. She was learning the job and some man didn’t leave a tip. I just happened to notice it, but I felt irritated about that. Tipping is part of sit down restaurants in the USA and you shouldn’t be messing with someone livelihood, especially when they are working hard and learning something new. I just wanted to add that bc its frustrating to see these humans out in the wild.

My wife and i stopped here for dinner and both ordered the roast turkey dinner, the daily special. The food was just plain bad. Everything tasted like it had been cooked earlier and microwaved. The turkey was dry. Ive had better instant dressing than what they served. The sweet potato casserole was pretty flavorless and had very few pecans in it. Lumps of dressing were mixed in with the sweet potato dish. Kitchen staff clearly neglected to rinse off their serving spoon. When our waitress inquired, i told her the entire meal was bad and specified why. She brought another plate but it was not any better. The manager listened to my complaints but made no effort to comp the meal, offer a complementary dessert, or anything else to make it right. Our waitress was clearly upset with the poor quality food coming out of their kitchen. No wonder Cracker Barrel is losing so many customers. I wont return. Complete waste of money.

Dirty silverware supplied. (a frequentproblem!), Waitress asked for our beverage order then, before we answered, asked another waitress if another table guests arrived first and then argued about who/when would take our order. I ordered one thing – was brought and charged for a more expensive item. We actually had 4 waitresses during our visit. Other issues but finally our checkout took 13 minutes. Older and inexperienced cashier had difficulty with the check of the two parties before us. Called the manager who wasn’t kind to the cashier or the guests ahead of us. They disagreed with the manager’s decision so the cashier called her back to further dialogue. Then she asked for my membership – typed my number in – and put a box of various chocolate types in front of me asking if I wanted one. I asked if that was because of my membership and she said no, that it was because of my fondness of chocolate. Absolutely NOT a good experience.

Ordered through DoorDash. Good thing I decided to inspect the food because I found this greenish-black on and under the pancakes. Scrambled eggs looked like it was only made with one egg. Embarrassing for a establishment like this

Service sure seemed slow for not being busy!!! It has been a lot of years since eating at this particular Cracker Barrel!!! The most noticeable change I noticed was they now serve Beer and Wine !!! The food was good, but not quite what there company standards are I’m sure !!!! I left out of there full with a To-go box with enough for tomorrow’s lunch!!!!! No real complaints from me, I’ll eat here again and again!!!! This particular location is set right in the middle of a large cluster of hotels in Gastonia,in short this restaurant can get as busy as any restaurant you’ve ever been to!!!!
