I pretty much gave up on cracker barrel a few years ago. Food not cooked properly, service was not good at all. This time my wife and mother-in-law wanted to go so I said u will give them a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was very courteous and professional and very prompt. The food was cooked to perfection and once again this was a truly wonderful dining experience. This is why they got 5 stars from me and I will be frequently visiting there once again. *****

Haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in a while. A few things have changed including the menus and of course, the prices. Overall, it was a good experience and a great brunch. We enjoyed spending some time on the front “porch” rocking in the chairs and playing checkers. It was a great break during a somewhat stressful day.

Food tasted wonderful but seemed to set off a belly ache that could just be my digestion trouble. Didn’t seem to start until after a tried to eat the last few bites of hubby’s country ham, which had a strong “wild” flavor I don’t like.

We had a grouchy toddler. Our waitress was so kind and brought him 2 biscuits while we waited for the meals. It was a simple thing but it meant a lot to us! We are also more confident to ask those sorts of helps from others because she was so kind the first time we ever did. Very thankful for that! Food was hot and delicious as always at Cracker Barrel

Server Peyton is rude and hateful. She rushed us through our ordering, didnt really clarify when i asked about cheese in the casserole she said “Its a casserole.” Angrily as if i should have known and when i recieved my food she was rude about it. I ordered the biscuit breakfast with the idea it came with gravy. Asked her about it all she said in a rude tone was “You ordered the biscuit breakfast.” I asked her for a menu to double check thinking it was my fault and she stormed off. I told my partner she seemed to be rushing and couldnt manage well, which was clear. As she arrived with the menu we decided the service was awful and the food wasnt for us so we got up to leave. As we left she said “Well i heard what you said, so.” Im afraid she spit in the food with how rude she was. Even if youre having a bad day dont take it out on your customers. I wasnt rude and didnt even say anything bad other than she seemed like she was overwhelmed. Dont eat here.
