It took a bit to get a waitress. We were seated fast. Menus in hand. No waitress. Maybe 10 minutes later the one for the table next to us came over and asked if our server had shown up. No. She took care of us right away. Food came out fast. She was right on the ball. All food was good. Except the corn. No flavor. Mac and cheese. I added pepper. My steak was amazing. Chicken and dumplings is the go to food here. Waitress said an order of chicken and dumplings with 2 extra side of dumplings is a favorite. Gift shop hit me. So much cool stuff! I spent way too much on the way out! Only 3 stars on atmosphere because tables are crowded in together. Hard to move at times.

NEVER AGAIN! Our server was super sweet and she was very helpful!! However it took an hour to wait for our food after ordering! They also never offered a high chair/booster seat for my toddler? Do they not have them anymore? My friend ordered the strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes and the pancakes were hard and freezing cold. We understand they would cool because of the toppings but they were cold throughout… also ordered extra crispy bacon and they were rubbery and barely cooked. Idk what was going on in the kitchen but you could see them all arguing too. Probably won’t be back. At no fault to the restaurant- but other customers were rude and they sat the children separate from the adults and were at a table behind us. the kids kept running to their parents and throwing their chairs into ours

Just got breakfast for take out and unfortunately received moldy, old fruit. Most (not just one piece of fruit) of them were at the bottom so I ate a few on top. Very disappointing to see and I’m already feeling sick. Won’t be back. Hate to make a post like this but would hate to see it happen to anyone else.

I normally opt for the fried chicken but decided to try the breakfast this time. All I can say is WOW!! Literally could have licked the plate. I highly recommend the French toast with eggs, a variety of meat, and the apples. Definitely the best meal I’ve ever had at and Cracker Barrel. 10/10. Highly recommend. It was a chilly night and the fire was crackling, made for a cozy comfortable atmosphere

The food was delicious during our visit. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The service and atmosphere were average which is to be expected for a casual chain restaurant. It’s a better choice than many other chain restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend.

Stopped by for lunch on a road trip. It was my first time at this chain. The gift shop was so cute and we were greeted kindly by staff and seated promptly. The service was very quick, our wait staff was wonderful and our food was delivered quickly. I could even pay using Apple Pay or online by scanning the QR code on the bill. Perfect for introverts like myself. Quite happy with lunch and bought a few trinkets for gifts to take back home. Great place to stop for a bite.

A wonderful experience, from the staff to the atmosphere to the amazing fresh food. A truly great place to eat with reasonable costs. Having visited the restaurant on a trip to Washington DC, I was amazed to only realize 1 in Erie just recently and can honestly say, the whole experience was just as wonderful in both stores. Slight wait to be seated, however worth the wait. An experience not to be missed.

Ordered chicken french toast, country boy breakfast.
Food 3/5: steak was very juicy and delicious. Ask eggs for over easy was a little bit over cooked. Chicken and french toast was very yummy highly recommended. Lost stars on the biscuit and gravy. That biscuit was very starchy and bland. I was choking after the first bite. Too bad cause that would’ve complimented the meal.
Service 5/5: great service, very friendly and courteous. Drinks were refilled without having to ask.
Atmosphere 3/5: restaurant was very dim. Have to go through the old country store to get into the restaurant.
Honestly one of the best breakfast places in the area. Would recommend to anyone, definitely different from your IHOP.

(Before the review here is their lunch menu for anyone interested) This is such a classic and amazing place to eat…. And shop?! We went there today for food and came out with 2 bags for of items from their amazing shop! Food was really good. Came out quick and fresh waitress was friendly I definitely recommend this place for a nice date the atmosphere was amazing the inside decor was very classic and just sets a good moodlet!

Well I tried the hamburger steak that they discontinued and brought back. It was way different t then the old version where nothing wrong with it(just like there logo) I got some to go meals to go though which we like. I also got three prepared meals and some stuff from the store. They packed all of it including the to go meals in one bag which was tied pretty tight. I took it home and one of the prepared meals was missing. Later that night I ended up with the worst heartburn I ever had I think. It was not better til late morning the next day. Very disappointed with a meal I used to love and was happy to have it again til I tasted it.
