Tried Crack & Juicy in Glen Burnie and everything was excellent. I ordered the crab cake platter with collard greens and sweet potato fries and it all came out hot, fresh, and super flavorful. The crab cake was packed with crab and cooked perfectly.

The service was great too. They even let us try some jumbo shrimp on the house and added coleslaw on the side when we couldn’t decide on what to order. Their house sauce is amazing and definitely worth trying.

Unfortunately I didn’t get a bunch of pics, but don’t let the pic fool you, the crab cake was big in a large take out container.

Great food and really friendly service. We’ll definitely be back.

We were driving today to Costco for gas on our way home to New York and didn’t want to spend too much time sitting for a meal. Found this seafood eatery after reading many reviews. Given our experience with many east coast lobster shacks, we were hoping the crab cakes would be good…and it absolutely was. Peter asked if we were first timers and brought out fried shrimp samples for the 4 of us. They were amazing (large and delicately battered and fried). We ended up ordering 2 specials with crab cake, fried catfish, 4 fried shrimp and 1 side. My son and his wife split onion rings while hubby and I had the collard greens. The 6oz crab cake had large pieces of lump crab without much breading and just right amount of seasoning. We also got the Maryland crab soup and fried oysters. Everything was fresh and delicious. Family said totally exceeded their expectations. Even the bomb bomb sauce was tasty. Service was quick and impeccable. Peter was always attentive. Can’t say enough good things about Crack And Juicy. Highly recommended if you’re driving through the area. Thanks for a great meal and experience

Wow, what a find! Peter was great at info and the shrimp & crab cakes are awesome!
Heavy on the crab, light on the filler. Stopped by to surprise my aunt for her 99th birthday…she loves crab cake…and this place was a quick grab & go at a great price for what you get. We will be back!

(They are so good…they’re worth the 4 hr drive from Va Beach!…already thinking about it.)

Friendly Vibes & Must-Try Shrimp!

If it’s your first time at Crack and Juicy, you’re in for a warm welcome. They usually offer newcomers a sample to start things off, and the grilled shrimp sample I had was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.

The Food Experience:

While the shrimp was a 10/10, the rest of my meal was a bit of a mixed bag:

The Shrimp: Definitely the star. If you go, make sure shrimp is part of your order.

The Trout: Unfortunately, the fish didn’t quite live up to the high bar set by the shrimp. It lacked that same “deliciousness” and “wow” factor.

The Atmosphere:

The establishment itself is very likable and the staff is incredibly friendly. It’s the kind of place where you feel genuinely wanted as a customer, which goes a long way.

Final Verdict: This is a “choose your dish wisely” kind of spot. Stick to the shrimp and you’ll be very happy. I’d definitely go back to try some of their other seafood boils or platters given how nice the experience was!

Honest review!
So, I decided to try this place out for the first time, and I’ll never go again! I ordered 2 dozen female crabs, and the front cashier informed me that they may not have enough for 2 dozen. He goes in the back and comes out and says it looks like we only have about a dozen in a half, but then says let me go count again then comes back and says We have enough cool. I get home and to my surprise I have more small crabs that the game ward would fine for! If I wanted mix, I would have paid 35 for mix, but ended up paying 45 a dozen for nothing . The crabs have no flavor, meat-wise, total waste.

My Husband & I traveled far & wide from Canada on a foodie road trip. This little gem was not far from our hotel. I could rant & rave with an essay on how 10/10 this place is. Crabs & Crab cakes. Perfect. Even the seasoning. Hospitality, Dude would fit right in as a stereotype member of society in Canada! Way too nice! Sorry if we over stayed our welcome, but Thank you for hanging with us late & letting us enjoy our meal!

Baby, the shrimp and catfish were fried to the God’s honey! The butter, garlic crab-legs, corn and shrimp……OMG. The Maryland Crab Soup was amazing. Come on over to Crack & Juicy in Glen Burnie, you won’t be disappointed. Come support Le and the gang! The best service ever and the atmosphere is chill.

I wanted to share a fantastic dining experience I had recently. My friend and I were looking for cream of crab soup and ended up at a place that, while not serving that specific item, had amazing Maryland crab. We almost left, but the owner’s son, Peter, offered us a sample of shrimp since it was our first time there, and it was absolutely delicious!
Everything is made fresh to order. We ended up getting the fried fish lunch special, which was an A+ experience. We even felt comfortable sitting down to eat because the place was so clean. We’ve been back several times since and have consistently been impressed.
I highly recommend checking them out!

STOP, STOP!!! This place is definitely a hidden gem. The customer service, the restaurant’s cleanliness, and the nice portioned, well-seasoned food! Peter was very nice and went above and beyond; when I tell you, he is on top of everything to ensure your dining service is amazing here, from allowing us to sample food being our first time and giving us a rundown of the menu and gave a few recommendations. I ordered the crab cake platter that came with a piece of fish of choice, four shrimp, and a side of collard greens. My husband had chicken wings, a piece of fish, and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese has their special seasoning that brings it to a whole other level, so do not skip getting it. I like that you get to sample everything with certain meal specials without purchasing everything separately. We will most definitely be back.

This is a small family owned seafood restaurant with 3 tables for eating there. We had a half dozen steamed crabs, 1 crab cake (never got a piece of shell) and 11 fried shrimp. Almost the entire time we were there cracking crabs there was someone else seated and eating but most business was carry-out. Most food is fried but there was a selection of other forms of preparation. Seafood included blue crab cakes, steamed crabs, Alaskan crabs, Louisiana crayfish, and a variety of fish (catfish, trout, talapia, etc). Everything was cooked fresh. When there were few customers the owner chatted with us.. very friendly and personable. Food was brought to our table since we were eating-in. One take out order was a full bushel of steamed crabs in a genuine bushel basket!!! Everything tasted great! There is a bathroom on site for any post-eating cleanup. Parking was ample but being on a corner can be a challenge but there is a LOT of room behind the place. When driving it is easy to miss so slow down when close. Prices were good. They take credit cards. This is an awesome little family business worth repeated visits.
