We have been eating and socializing at Crabby Steves since he opened many years ago. No doubt the best to occupy this location. The food is always great and a better value than most if not all of 30A. You can not beat the atmosphere and the view. Where else on 30A can you walk up from the beach, order food and cocktails with no shirt, no shoes and taking in the amazing Gulf views?!

Update: came back 8.14.25 and it’s still great. Diego was running the bar.

Please do not go to this business. I have never been more insulted in my life. I have written over 100 very positive reviews for businesses and I would never normally write a bad review, but I need to warn you all. The waitress didn’t bring us water for the longest time and then when she did, she was incredibly rude to my friend. I did not say anything to the waitress at all, but at the end, the owner’s daughter accused me of being rude when I hadn’t even spoken so how can I be rude when I was quiet. Having looked at a lot of the reviews in the past, there are a lot of other people who talk about the poor customer service. The owner’s daughter ganged up with the staff member instead of even listening to my friend. It would be proper customer service to at least listen and to apologize for the experience but she was extremely rude.
For the owner to see, my friend did say the bar tender was very nice. But he was the only one. His daughter is running the business downhill the way she was so rude
Would love the owner to review cameras to know I didn’t speak but to ask for water and to order. Yet I was attacked verbally by his daughter. She should have listened to get facts and not thrown out insults. She clearly didn’t care.

Crabby Steve’s is the best place to have lunch – and beach drinks – on 30A. Perfect beach food. The best experience is to get a seat at the bar (worth the wait) and have lunch with Rhonda the bartender. The rest of the bar and service staff are outstanding too. Get the Cinqo Wrap, cheese burger, Mahi Sandwich, or Red Royal Shrimp Ceviche. Excellent drinks. Hint: when Rhonda asks you if you want “floater” on your Miami Vice, you say “yes!”

Food was amazing, very much needed for a hot beach day. Service was above and beyond. I wish I could remember our waiters name, he was Latino and had glasses. He was super attentive, charismatic, and a great guy. We got the grilled shrimp and Guinness burger. Price point was fair. Only critic I have is that I didn’t really like the sweet tea, I think it was Pure Leaf tea but that’s just my personal taste.

Solid for a beach bar. The food was pretty good. Service was great and pretty quick. There is not much seating, and nothing indoors, but again – beach bar.
I had the blackened grouper sandwich, and it was great. So were the sweet potato fries. Others in my party had the Jerk chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders. As far as I heard, only the chicken tenders weren’t good. Their cocktail also had way too much salt.
Facilities were typical beach bar. Not too much to write home about. I do not know if there were any bathrooms. Biggest knock against the place is it is only accessible via the beach.
Cost was a bit pricey for my blood – but that’s okay. It was good so no complaints.

They actually didn’t have anything to serve us except hotdog and chopped up shrimp that they called ceviche. The girl that sat at us was rude. Then the waitress came over and was extremely rude. She stood on my shoes and told me I put them in the wrong place. I’ve never seen ruder people in my life. I almost felt like they were going to harm us. They were that bad. I felt like in danger.

Just grabbed lunch here today. I do NOT recommend. Waited 30+ mins in the sun for the most basic of one order chicken sandwich and fries. They need a better system here or more restaurant options or something (anything would be better). My drink was served to me first and hot by time I got back to the beach so that was a waste of money. Go for the view later in the evening when it’s a bit quieter. Spare yourself the midday frustration when you’re trying to have a good time

I just noticed Mr. Griffin’s review of Crabby Steve’s; note that this is Crabby Steve’s. Regardless if the owner is in a good mood or is in a frustrated mood does not take away from the Excellence of the food found at this perfectly located restaurant. Not only has my experience at this restaurant been excellent from the wait staff, to the owner to the quality of the food and drinks, but I think it says a lot about a place when they remember you from last summer and Summers before. Last but not least, the views are unbeatable!
