Food was good. My husband said the coleslaw was the best he has ever eaten.Waitress was not friendly. It is a small place and a little tricky to get to. You walk up to the back of the bldg. and go around to get into the front. It is in a strange location. Parking is a short distance away.

The Crabby Pig: no I’m not talking about my ex-wife. I’m talking about a great seafood restaurant in Cumberland! The atmosphere is great because there’s indoor seating or outdoor seating and it’s right along the canal in the historic District. The food is very good because there are lots of seafood selections, but also lots of selections for land lubbers too. My ol’ lady loves the crab dip.

Nice little seafood joint right off the bike trail. They do have outside seating available. Staff is friendly and outgoing. Food did take a little while to come out but it was all warm and tasty. Had the crab dip and fried clams for an app. Entrees were the captains platter, the fried shrimp and fish and the crabby burger. All were tasty and cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to return.

Came for lunch. Both of us got bbq. Bbq sauce was not good at all. Not sure if this is homemade or bought but it just tasted off. Tried the fries they were not good didn’t expect hand cut or anything but they were almost just basic ones from a frozen bag. So tried the cornbread it tasted like the jiffy from a box. Waitress was friendly so tipped her well. She did take off the entrees. My only critique with this would be give a little time before asking if someone’s ready to order as the menu is huge. Now the menu being huge is good bc someone can try almost anything. But for the price the taste of the food wasn’t worth it to me. Would be willing to try again, but we weren’t offered to try another dish instead and no manager came out. We really had high hopes for this place.

We were very happy with our meals at the crabby pig. We dined outside with our dog. The food was delicious and the service was good. Someone had said the portions were small but that was not our experience. I got the crab cake dinner and my boyfriend had the chicken with crab topping. We left with a whole other meal’s worth of leftovers.

Soups were good. They offer mixing the two crab soups – I didn’t but wish I would have.
BBQ was also very good, and so were the ribs.
Parking is hard – try to park under the highway.

I had the crab soup (mixed) which was fantastic and the steamed clams! The food was awesome! Others got the broiled shrimp and scallops and enjoyed everything!

Always ate here when I lived in Cumberland. Now that I’m in Ohio, it was a true treat to be back on recent visit. It was delicious now as it was ten years ago. It wish I lived closer so I could enjoy the Cream of Crab soup everyday. My husband enjoyed it a great deal too. We’re definitely stopping in again on our visit.

Hands down the best crab cake I ever ate. First time customers. I had the captain’s platter, everything was delicious. The scallops melted in your mouth.
My husband got the fried oyster platter and the baked beans are unbelievably good with big chunks of bacon.
My husband and I decided that any time that we’re in the area we are stopping by there. Hard to find a seafood place that is this good. The service was outstanding as well.

Excellent food and service. I highly recommend the cream of crab soup; it is always served hot, has a creamy taste with a kick, and they do not skimp out on the amount of crab meat in the soup. The burgers are also really good. The first time I ordered one, it came out plain (no toppings at all) and I was initially upset until I took a bite. The burgers are thick patties, juicy, and always flavorful. Overall, Crabby Pig is one the best restaurants in the area.
